How to Watch New England vs Denver on SNF

Viewers in the United States can watch this New England vs Denver game on Saturday night on NFL Network while viewers in Canada can watch on DAZN or TSN.

Patriots vs Broncos Head-to-Head History

The most recent head-to-head meeting wasn’t since 2020 with Denver winning on the road 18-12. The teams have split the last six meetings each winning three, while Denver leads the all-time history 31-23.

Patriots vs Broncos Public Betting Trends

In NFL public betting, the public has clearly aligned themselves with the Broncos on both the spread and moneyline. Over 80% of the money and bets are on the Broncos moneyline. When it comes to totals betting, as of this writing, over 60% of the money and over 90% of the bets are on the Over.

Patriots Betting Preview

The Patriots did their best to contain the champs, and were down just 14-10 to the Chiefs at halftime last week. But Kansas City scored 13 more points in the third quarter to lead 27-10 heading into the final frame and went on to win 27-17.

Bailey Zappe was just 23-31 for 180 yards to go with one touchdown and one interception. No Patriots’ running back exceeded 25 yards on the ground and Hunter Henry led all of their receivers with 66 yards. The Pats had just 206 total yards, failed to move the chains in third down going just 2/12 and had just ten total first downs all game.

The Patriots were able to pick off Patrick Mahomes twice, but Mahomes still was able to throw for 305 yards and two TDs.

New England’s offense is still a league-worst scoring just 13.3 PPG, but they have exceeded that number in recent games scoring 17 and 21 points in their past two games. But with total points scored of 0, 7, 6, 17 and 17, they’ve only scored 20 or more once in their past seven games. Scoring points could be made even tougher this week with RB Rhamondre Stevenson out, WR Juju Smith-Schuster out, and TE Henry and LT Trent Brown questionable.

New England’s ATS mark basically mirrors their SU record, at 3-10-1 ATS and they’re 1-6 ATS in their past seven. New England is 9-5 to the Under in totals betting, are 2-0 to the Over in their last two, but 4-2 to the Under in their past six.

Broncos Betting Preview

Denver has also been an Under team going 8-6 to the Under this season. They had been riding a streak of 7/8 games going Under before last week’s 42-17 loss in Detroit that went Over the total of 49.

Denver found themselves down and down big early behind 21-0 after the first quarter and Jared Goff went on to throw for 278 yards and five touchdowns. Jahmyr Gibbs led the Lions with 100 yards rushing and a touchdown and Amon-Ra St Brown led all receivers with 112 yards and a score.

But the Broncos also got picked apart in the short passing game as well. Detroit TE Sam LaPorta had just five catches for 56 yards, but three of those five touchdowns led to touchdowns.

That could be an area the Patriots can target with Henry, if he’s able to play, making him an intriguing option in the Patriots vs Broncos props.

The Broncos have cooled off after a five-game winning streak that saw them take advantage of opponent turnovers. Since, Denver lost 22-17 in Houston, won 24-7 in Los Angeles over the Chargers and then lost last week.

Patriots vs Broncos Prediction

Neither team will stretch the field much with their passing offenses ranked 26th (NE) and 25th (DEN). Denver’s strength is in the running game where they’re 14th, but they’ll be up against the league’s second-best run stopping unit here.

Neither team plays at a quick pace either with the Broncos averaging the second-fewest plays per game and the Patriots the eighth-fewest. That’s resulted in both ranking bottom seven in average first downs per game as well.

Denver’s seven wins have come by 3, 2, 15, 2, 1, 17 and 17 points. Each of those double-digit wins has a caveat though. They beat KC with Mahomes playing with the flu, Cleveland with the combo of Dorian Thompson-Robinson and PJ Walker at quarterback and the Chargers with Justin Herbert getting injured and Easton Stick taking over.

This looks like an Under to me. The Patriots struggle to score points every week, and Denver is a mediocre 16th in PPG themselves. If the Patriots were healthy offensively I may give them a chance to stay within the touchdown, as they’re not I’ll back the Under in my New England vs Denver picks.

Patriots vs Broncos Picks: Under 34.5
