Top DFS Picks for Today’s Slate
Ja’Marr Chase More 81.5 Receiving Yards
Chase is the clearest way to attack the slate’s best game environment. The Buccaneers-Bengals matchup owns the highest total on the card at 50.5 with a tight 3.5-point spread, which creates a strong setup for four-quarter passing volume rather than a one-sided script. Chase’s market profile backs that up: a 7.5-reception line and an 85.5 receiving-yard line put him in true alpha territory.
The DFS appeal is that Chase does not need a touchdown to pay off. His longest-reception prop is 25.5 yards, so he has splash-play upside, but the reception and yardage lines also point to bankable target volume. In cash builds, that floor matters; in tournaments, pairing Chase with another piece from this game keeps access to the slate’s top shootout.
Chris Olave More 6.5 Receptions at Lions
Olave’s over is backed by both role and likely game script. His 6.5-reception line is one of the stronger volume signals on the board, and the 76.5 receiving-yard prop suggests sportsbooks are not projecting empty underneath targets. That combination makes him attractive in PPR-style DFS formats, where repeated short and intermediate catches can build a solid score before touchdown variance enters the equation.
The matchup context also helps. Detroit is favored, which can push New Orleans into elevated pass volume if the Saints are playing from behind. Olave should be the natural first read in those situations, giving this pick a cleaner path through target share than touchdown dependency.
Lamar Jackson More 37.5 Rushing Yards at Colts
Jackson’s rushing prop is a value anchor because quarterback rushing is one of the most efficient DFS scoring paths. His 37.5-yard line is paired with a 6.5-rushing-attempt prop, which implies the market expects designed rushing usage plus scramble opportunities. That gives the over multiple ways to hit even if Baltimore’s passing game is still settling into its new offensive structure.
There is also a narrative and scheme angle. Jackson has spoken positively about the Ravens’ new system under head coach Jesse Minter and offensive coordinator Declan Doyle, and his mobility remains the element defenses have the hardest time preparing for in Week 1. If the Colts can keep the game competitive, Jackson’s rushing floor becomes especially valuable because Baltimore can lean on his legs in high-leverage downs and red-zone situations.

CeeDee Lamb More 6.5 Receptions at Giants
Lamb’s reception over is a classic alpha-volume play. He is listed at 6.5 receptions and 76.5 receiving yards, which points to a heavy target expectation rather than a thin efficiency bet. Dallas does not need to trail for Lamb to get there; he can pile up catches through scripted touches, third-down work, and high-percentage throws designed to keep the offense on schedule.
The Cowboys-Giants matchup also carries a 48 total, keeping Dallas passing volume in play. For DFS, Lamb’s value comes from combining a reliable catch floor with slate-breaking upside if the Giants can force Dallas to stay aggressive into the second half.
Trey McBride More 6.5 Receptions at Chargers
McBride’s over is a pure PPR volume angle with a favorable script. His 6.5-reception line shows the market expects Arizona to feature him heavily, and the 57.5 receiving-yard prop suggests steady short-area involvement rather than a bet that requires one deep catch. That makes him especially useful at tight end, where reliable volume is harder to find.
Arizona being a sizable underdog strengthens the case. If the Cardinals are chasing points, McBride can become a high-percentage outlet on quick throws, checkdowns, and middle-of-the-field routes. He may not need elite yards per catch to beat this number, which is exactly the type of profile that translates well to DFS value.
