Philadelphia’s odds have been shifting around from 7 to 7.5 points. The over moved to 45 points and expect it to stay there barring further worsening of the weather.
So, the NFL Betting Trends are mixed. 64% of the money placed is for the Eagles but overall, 87% of the bets are on the Giants moneyline and 68% on the over for Sunday.
Eagles Betting Outlook
This game now simply is another NFC East clash where the Philadelphia Eagles want to stay as healthy as possible. The Eagles hold a two-game lead in the division and a one-game lead for the top spot in the NFC.
After winning three straight games, the Eagles look to keep on rolling on Sunday even at inclement MetLife Stadium.

Two weeks ago, the Eagles’ defense got sloppy against Jordan Love and the Packers. Last week, they atoned and stopped Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans cold. The Titans did little, if anything, scored just ten points, and the Eagles coasted to an easy 35-10 victory. Philadelphia learned their lesson to keep the foot on the gas pedal at all times.
What can help Philadelphia is that depleted Giants secondary. The Eagles expect to have a matchup advantage with either A.J. Brown or De’Vonta Smith. New York cannot double both receivers given their injury malaise. Even in a cold rain, these receivers will get open as wind will be minimal.
If the Giants do choose to blitz more, that could play right into Jalen Hurts and the Eagles’ offensive strategy.
Giants Betting Outlook
At home, New York has been better this season. The Giants have gone 4-2-1 so far at MetLife Stadium. With a 7-4-1 mark, the playoffs are becoming more likely.
Brian Daboll sees much concern on Sunday, however. Daniel Jones cannot win the game if Saquon Barkley does not play. New York possesses few game-breaking receivers. Furthermore, the Giants need a superhuman effort from a secondary that got lit up by Terry McLaurin last week for over 100 yards.
The Giants’ offense has moments but again, how healthy is Barkley? Jones had a nice week running the ball and might need to even more against a better Eagles’ secondary. However, the quarterback’s questionable ball handling in the rain could loom a big worry too.

Again, this week is problematic as it comes down to Daniel Jones. Can Jones finally step up and win the game he rarely has in his NFL career? This is a big ask with the offensive line and the receiving corps the way it is. However, even Eli Manning and Phil Simms found a way.
Can the Giants slow down the Philadelphia receivers? That is a huge question mark. Can they get a few unforced errors from Jalen Hurts perhaps?
Again, the Eagles offense has piled up 953 yards the previous two weeks while allowing just 551. New York needs a little luck and a healthy Barkley if they want to stay close.
Close is possible but the Giants offense is too predictable here.
Eagles vs Giants Prediction
This game looks like the under is the best option.
The Eagles’ defense can control the Giants especially if Barkley is hobbled or does not play. New York and the rain may slow down the Philadelphia offense just enough.
The Pick: Under 45 points (-110) 1 unit
2022 Record: 9-3; Overall: 9-3, +5.5 units
