The thinking among the oddsmakers is that the Week 8 MNF game between the Detroit Lions and Las Vegas Raiders is going to be a blowout. The hometown Lions are set as 7.5-point favorites in the Raiders vs Lions odds and several players are expected to have big games in the Raiders vs Lions props.
Las Vegas is welcoming back QB1 Jimmy Garoppolo from a one-game absence due to a back injury. Look for him to air it out, since the Raiders can’t run the ball and Detroit is great at stopping the run.

Raiders vs Lions Props #1: Davante Adams Receiving Yardage
When it comes to NFL props, Raiders WR Davante Adams is the prime time king. In nine MNF games, he’s scored six TDs and caught 51 passes for 710 yards. That works out to a 78.9 yard average, above the 75.5-yard total Adams is assigned for this game.
Davante Adams will be happy to see Garoppolo back on the field as well. In games with Garoppolo, Adams has averaged 79.2 receiving yards and has caught three touchdowns in the five games the QB started.

Detroit has been victimized by top WRs all season long. Adam Thielen, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett all hit the over for the receiving yardage in games against the Lions this season. Adams is a deep threat and Garoppolo figures to be looking for him on those deep routes, especially if Detroit jumps out to a big lead.
Adams has gone over 75.5 yards in three of the five games this season with Garoppolo under center.

Raiders vs Lions Props #2: Jahmyr Gibbs Receiving Yards
With David Montgomery on the shelf again this week, rookie Jahmyr Gibbs is once more the feature back for the Lions. He was one of the team’s few bright spots in last week’s 38-6 loss at Baltimore.

He had 11 carries for 68 yards. More importantly, Gibbs made nine receptions on 10 targets for 58 yards. With Detroit hurting along the offensive line, quick-hitting outlet passes to Gibbs could be a vital weapon in the club’s arsenal against the Raiders.
