A big thank you to the Green Bay Packers for deep-sixing us in the SNF Week 18 finale. Getting goose-egged is probably not the way you want to go into the playoffs.

Alas, let’s wipe the slate clean and get cracking on Wild Card weekend, as we look at the Sunday Night Football player props between the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals,

This is the third meeting between these teams this season, and a second straight between these AFC North combatants. They’ve split the previous two. In our Ravens vs Bengals betting preview, the home team are hefty 8.5-point favorites.

It’s a dire situation at QB for Baltimore, who will not have Lamar Jackson in the lineup. The uncertainty at pivot has left books to leave both Tyler Huntley and Anthony Brown off the passing props.

Let’s look at the Wild Card Weekend player props for this matchup and share our best bets.

SNF Prop #1: Ja’Marr Chase Receptions & Trenton Irwin Rec Yards

Here’s an inefficiency we had to jump on: Ja’Marr Chase has at least seven receptions in his last eight outings, and the books have his total at 6.5 for this one.

Two of those games are against these same Ravens. In their 19-17 loss October 9, Chase had seven grabs on 12 targets, while he had eight catches on 13 targets in the Week 18 finale.

Baltimore’s defense struggled against the pass in the regular season, giving up 232.2 pass yards per game (26th). Look for Joe Burrow to target his top receiver early and often.

As for Irwin, he’s wedged himself nicely into the Bengals’ passing attack since Week 8. He has at least one grab in each of the nine games he’s seen snaps in, and has at least two targets in seven.

He’s cruised past this receiving total in all but one game, where he had one grab for five yards against the Buccaneers. He could cash this in the first quarter.

Picks:

  • Chase OVER 6.5 receptions (-105); 1 unit to win 0.95 units
  • Irwin OVER 5.5 yards receiving (-125); 1.5 units to win 1.2 units

SNF Prop #2: Joe Burrow Passing Yards

The Bengals’ pivot has been way under this total in two meetings with the Ravens this season, throwing for just 217 yards in Week 5 and 215 yards in the Week 18 finale. They were two of Burrow’s low-five passing games of the year.

Perhaps it’s Baltimore’s attention to detail, after he lit the Ravens on fire last season, when Burrow threw for 941 yards in their two head-to-head matchups.

Expect Burrow to break out in a big way Sunday. While Baltimore has only allowed two QB’s to cross this total since their Week 10 bye, it hasn’t been a who’s who of pivots.

The only playoff-bound QB of the bunch they played (other than Burrow) was Trevor Lawrence, who threw for 321 yards and three scores.

Prop Pick:

  • Burrow OVER 270.5 passing yards (-115); 1 unit to win 0.87 units

Ravens vs Bengals Touchdown Scorer Odds

Chase has scored at least one TD in five of the last six games where the Bengals were the favorite, and he’s getting plus odds in this one. Another Bengal, Joe Mixon has scored at least once in four of his last five home games.

For the Ravens, tight end Mark Andrews has scored at least one TD in three of his previous four games in Cincinnati, but finding the endzone might be tough for Baltimore in this one.

SNF Prop Picks:

  • Chase ANYTIME TD scorer (+105); 1 unit to win 1.05 units
  • Overall SNF props record: 32-40, -10.48 units
