For whatever reason, the New Orleans Saints have had Tom Brady’s number ever since he arrived in Tampa Bay. Brady is 1-4 in the regular season against the Saints since joining the Bucs, with a couple of his failures coming in primetime.
New Orleans and Tampa Bay will square off under the lights again on Monday Night Football, and we’re looking to target Brady’s number one option in the Week 13 player props.
Our Saints vs Buccaneers player props card begins by backing Chris Godwin, who’s been seeing ridiculous volume since returning from injury.

MNF Prop #1: Chris Godwin Over 6.5 Receptions
Godwin has been soaking up targets left, right and center lately. He’s seen double-digit looks in six of his past eight games, including 13 last week versus the Browns.
He converted those 13 targets into 12 catches, and has six or more receptions in eight straight contests. He leads the team in receptions, despite having sat out a pair of games, and operates primarily in the slot where Brady loves to target.
Chris Godwin Stats – Last 5 Games
TGT | REC | YDS | TD |
---|---|---|---|
12 | 13 | 110 | 1 |
6 | 8 | 71 | 1 |
7 | 10 | 36 | 0 |
6 | 11 | 75 | 0 |
7 | 13 | 43 | 0 |
Also working in his favor is a difficult matchup for Mike Evans. Tampa’s other stud receiver has a long history of struggling against Marshon Lattimore on the outside, producing three or fewer catches in four of his last five games against New Orleans.
MNF Prop Pick: Chris Godwin Over 6.5 Receptions (-145), 1 unit
MNF Prop #2: Adam Trautman Under 2.5 Receptions
With starting tight end Juwan Johnson out, Adam Trautman will see an increase in snaps for New Orleans. His receptions prop currently sits at 2.5, a number he’s failed to clear in all but one of his outings this season.
Trautman was a star at the University of Dayton, but his small school success hasn’t translated at the NFL level. Part of the reason why is that he’s not a strong athlete (per NFL standards). He tested in the 46th percentile in the 40-yard dash, and posted similar underwhelming results in his speed and burst workout metrics. It’s hard to win in the NFL against elite linebackers and safeties with that kind of athletic profile.
Adam Trautman is not it. I'll play Evan Engram. https://t.co/a7rLZM5BWw

Trautman has yet to see more than three targets per game this season, and with Chris Olave, Alvin Kamara and Jarvis Landry all healthy for this matchup, he’ll likely be an after thought.
MNF Prop Pick: Adam Trautman Under 2.5 Receptions (-125), 1 unit

As far as the anytime TD market goes, the Bucs running backs have the shortest odds which adds up since Tampa Bay is a 3.5 point favorite. Kamara has the smallest price tag among New Orleans players, but Olave’s odds stick out like a sore thumb for our Saints vs Bucs picks.
MNF Prop #3: Chris Olave Anytime TD
The rookie wideout leads the Saints in targets, receptions and yards. He’s only found the end zone three times this season, but should have a strong chance to do so again on Monday against a banged up Tampa Bay secondary.
Chris Olave this season:

The Bucs will be missing three of their top-five corners, and Olave already roasted them for 80 yards back in Week 2. Olave has produced four 40+ yard receptions already this season, and don’t be surprised if he takes a deep ball to the house in primetime.
MNF Prop Pick: Chris Olave Anytime TD (+215), 1 unit
Week 13 Player Props record: 1-3, -2.13 units
