Week 13 in the NFL brings us several intriguing matchups to consider for our NFL player props. Is Deshaun Watson worth a bet in his passing props against his old team? Or should we look to the ground and Nick Chubb? Meanwhile, big-time matchups between the Titans vs Eagles, Dolphins vs 49ers and Chiefs vs Bengals should all offer plenty for props bettors.

We went 5-5 last week in our NFL props, now leaving us at 69-64, -7.20 units on the season.

Week 13 Passing Prop – Justin Herbert Passing Touchdowns

Justin Herbert just threw for 274 yards and three passing touchdowns in last week’s 25-24 win over the Arizona Cardinals. That was against a Cardinals team that ranks 24th in passing yards allowed per game. Now he’ll face a Raiders’ defense that struggles even more against the pass, ranking 26th and giving up 253 YPG.

Still, Herbert’s passing yardage prop is listed at 288.5 at DraftKings, and while the Raiders may be worse than the Cards defending the pass, Herbert has only exceeded that number in four games this season. Three of those four games came in the first four games of the season.

He has thrown for multiple touchdowns in back-to-back games now, with three last week and two the week prior against Kansas City.

Mike Williams missed out again last week and is questionable with an ankle injury. But Keenan Allen is back and found the endzone again last week. In a game lined at 49.5, points are to be expected which should result in Herbert throwing at least two TDs.

Prop Pick: Justin Herbert over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-195); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook

Week 13 Rushing Prop – Nick Chubb Rushing Yards

How can we not look in the direction of Nick Chubb when it comes to rushing props in Week 13? For his part, he’s third in league rushing with 1,039 yards and second in rushing touchdowns with 12.

He just rushed for 116 yards last week against the Bucs and has eclipsed the century mark six times now this season.

Deshaun Watson is returning at QB for the Browns and that could mean more emphasis comes on the passing game for Cleveland. However, Watson hasn’t played football in two years and what better way to get acclimated back into the league than by handing the rock to the Browns’ most consistent offensive threat in Chubb?

And this is the perfect opponent to do so against. Oddly, against Watson’s old team the Houston Texans. Houston may have held the Dolphins to 66 rushing yards last week, but Miami got up 30-0 at the half, their lead back Raheem Mostert was out and backup Jeffrey Wilson only ran the ball 13 times. Miami also didn’t need to worry about the run when Tua Tagovailoa was throwing for 299 yards through the air.

The Texans’ defense ranks 29th in yards allowed per game, and if that wasn’t bad enough, they rank 32nd against the run. To make matters worse DT Maliek Collins and WLB Christian Harris were both dealing with injuries throughout the week, however, do look like they’ll play on Sunday.

Prop Pick: Nick Chubb over 93.5 rushing yards (-115); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook

Week 13 Receiving Prop – Amon-Ra St Brown Receptions

Amon-Ra St Brown started the year strong, suffered an injury and had a few down weeks. However, in recent weeks he’s again back to being one of the most-targeted receivers in the league. He saw ten passes last week, a total that only nine receivers saw more than. In fact, he was one of 14 receivers to see double-digit targets in Week 12.

Looking back at previous weeks he was targeted 8, 11, 9, and 10 times in the four games before that. Those targets have resulted in 9, 7, 10, 4 and seven catches in the past five weeks. Another 7+ catch day on Sunday will cash our Week 13 prop.

Prop Pick: Amon-Ra St Brown over 6.5 receptions (-150); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook

Week 13 Touchdown Prop – Derrick Henry Anytime TD

The Eagles have been hurting when it comes to defending the run lately since they lost Jordan Davis to injury. They’ve allowed 106, 185 and 152 yards on the ground in their past three games.

In those games, AJ Dhillon found the endzone for the Packers, so did Jonathan Taylor (IND), as well as both Brian Robinson Jr and Antonio Gibson for Washington.

The Titans’ offense already relies mostly on Derrick Henry and that has led to the running back being second in league rushing and third in rushing touchdowns.

Knowing the recipe for success against Philly has been to run the ball and run it often lately, surely Mike Vrabel will be dialing up plenty of runs or passes out of the backfield to get Henry involved as much as possible.

Prop Pick: Derrick Henry anytime touchdown (-119); risk 1 unit at Caesars Sportsbook
