Best Passing Props to Bet for Week 12

1) Joe Burrow over 277.5 passing yards (-115); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook

Joe Burrow just went off last week for 355 yards and four passing touchdowns against the Steelers’ 32nd ranked passing defense. He’ll now face an equally poor passing defense in the Titans who rank 30th, giving up 266.8 YPG. Two weeks ago even the struggling Russell Wilson threw for 286 yards on them. Patrick Mahomes had 446 yards the game prior too.

Burrow’s passing yardage prop is set at 277.5.

Burrow has already thrown for 481 and 300 yards in two of his other previous four games. On the season he would’ve gone over this number five times, while missing it by three yards one other game.

From a touchdown perspective, he’s thrown multiple scores in four of his past five games. With Joe Mixon set to miss out with a concussion, the Bengals and Burrow will be forced to rely more heavily on the passing game.

2) Geno Smith over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-135); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook

Geno and the Seahawks have had a week off after losing 21-16 against Tampa Bay in Germany. It may have been a losing effort, but it was a 275 yard and a two-touchdown performance for Smith. It was the second game in a row where he threw for 275 yards. But more importantly for our NFL player props, it was the fourth straight game where he threw for two passing TDs. On the year, Smith has thrown multiple TDs in 8/10 games. His 17 TDs rank sixth in the league.

Smith will now go up against a Raiders’ pass defense that gives up the ninth-most passing yards per game (247.6) and also allows the ninth-most points per game at 24.2.

Miles Sanders (PHI) 14.5 (Ov -110 | Un -120) 66.5 (Ov -115 | Un -115)

Oddsmakers are expecting big things from Derrick Henry on Sunday as the Titans’ running back has the highest rushing prop at 97.5 yards.

Best Rushing Props to Bet for Week 12

1) Josh Jacobs over 81.5 rushing yards (-115); risk 1 unit DraftKings Sportsbook

The Raiders may be a in tailspin, last week’s win over the Broncos notwithstanding, but running back Josh Jacobs is still well on his way to a 1,000 yard season. In fact, he’s likely to break that milestone this weekend. Jacobs has 930 yards on the ground so far and just rushed for 109 yards last week. While it was the first time he eclipsed the century mark since October 23, he still rushed for 78 and 67 yards in the two weeks prior to last.

The Seahawks are no doubt the better team and the hotter team right now. But they give up a ton of yards on the ground—an average of 140,9 which ranks 28th. In their last game, they allowed a team that rarely runs the ball, the Bucs, to see Rachaad White and Leonard Fournette run for 105 and 57 yards respectively.

2) Jeffrey Wilson Jr over 80.5 rushing yards (-115); risk 1 unit DraftKings Sportsbook

The Miami Dolphins’ offense is more known for its’ passing attack (2nd) versus its’ run game (27th). But that’s mostly because Tua Tagovailoa has just been so successful throwing to the dynamic duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle that they don’t need to run.

But against the league’s lowest-ranked defense against the rush, Dolphins’ running backs could be in for a big day on Sunday. In Miami’s last game against the Browns, Jeffrey Wilson Jr had 119 yards on 17 carries and Raheem Mostert had 65 yards on eight carries. Both found the endzone.

Mostert is listed as doubtful with a knee injury so we’ll focus on Wilson Jr to go over his rushing prop.

At 92.5 yards, Tyreek Hill is listed with the highest receiving total in the odds above.

Best Receiving Props to Bet for Week 12

1) Davante Adams over 6.5 receptions (-154); risk 1 unit at FanDuel Sportsbook

The Raiders aren’t good. And having both Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller both on the IR hasn’t helped matters.

The person it may be helping is top WR Davante Adams. Adams has 28 more catches, 52 more targets and 457 more yards than the next closest receiver Mack Hollins.

Derek Carr seems to only have eyes for Adams lately as he’s targeted the receiver 13, 14 and 17 times the past three games. In turn, Adams has caught 7, 9 and 10 of those passes for 141, 126 and 146 yards. He’s also added five receiving touchdowns in those games. Against a Seahawks’ secondary ranked 21st in pass D, Adams should again have a big day.

2) Christian McCaffrey over 4.5 receptions (-115); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook.

I know Christian McCaffrey is a running back, but he’s really a player that can be slotted in anywhere in your NFL player props. We’ve even seen him throw a TD since joining the 49ers.

He could be worth a bet for his rushing prop as well. After all, New Orleans ranks 23rd against the run. They’ve also given up 148, 217 and 188 yards on the ground in their past three games.

But McCaffrey is splitting touches with Elijah Mitchell who has recently returned to the lineup. Mitchell had 18 carries two weeks ago, while McCaffrey had 14 and last week had nine compared to McCaffery’s seven.

But Kyle Shanahan has kept him involved as a receiver as well. He’s been targeted 2, 9, 6 and 7 times since joining San Fran, for 2, ,8 4 and 7 catches in those games.

3) Gerald Everett over 3.5 receptions (-131); risk 1 unit at Caesars Sportsbook

The Arizona Cardinals give up the most receptions (79), yards (862) and touchdowns (9) to opposing tight ends.

So how can we not back Chargers’ TE Gerald Everett in our Week 12 NFL player props? Everett was only 2/2 on catches/targets last week, but he finished with five catches in each of his previous three games. He also saw 8, 9 and 7 targets in those games. Against the Cardinals, Everett should return to those type of numbers in Week 12.

Among the favorites to find the endzone in the Week 12 NFL player props are Jeff Wilson Jr, Derrick Henry and Christian McCaffrey.

Here’s who I like to find the endzone and why for my Week 12 NFL player props:

  1. Travis Kelce anytime touchdown (-180); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook: Fresh off a three-touchdown performance last week against the Chargers, let’s go right back to Kelce again in our touchdown props. The KC TE now has 11 scores on the year, four in his last two games and has found the endzone in 6/10 games. With WRs Mecole Hardman (IR) and both Kadarius Toney and Juju Smith-Schuster questionable, there should be plenty of balls going Kelce’s way. And the Rams’ offense is so putrid the Chiefs should dominate the time of possession, which means more opportunities for Kelce to score.
  2. Tyreek Hill anytime touchdown (-150); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook: Tyreek Hill was kept relatively quiet last week against the Browns, bringing down just 5/6 passes for 44 yards. But one of those four catches did go for a touchdown, his second game in a row finding the endzone. And while he only caught one other TD pass in the two games prior to last, he did combine for 331 yards in those games (143 & 188). The Dolphins are expected to smash Houston this week and if that happens Hill should be heavily involved.
  3. Davante Adams anytime touchdown (-105); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook: Against a stingy Denver defense last week, Davante Adams had seven catches for 141 yards and two touchdowns. It was his third straight game with over 100 yards receiving and also for scoring a touchdown. In fact, he actually has five TDs in his past three games and is second in TDs among receivers in the league with 10. Furthermore, no one else has more than two receiving TDs for the Raiders so when Derek Carr looks toward the endzone, it’s clear he’s only looking for Adams.
