Prop #1: Steelers Will Contain Jackson

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson rambled for 70 yards on 14 carries in his only start against the Steelers last season. However, this Pittsburgh defense is a much different brand of cat to elude.

The Steelers are allowing just 68.8 yards per game on the ground. That’s second-best in the NFL. Last week, Pittsburgh held NFL rushing leader Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans to 75 yards on 20 carries. That’s an average of 3.8 yards per carry.

Pick: Lamar Jackson under 59.5 yards rushing (+118), 1 unit.

Prop #2: Big Ben Runs Out Of Time

The Steelers have done a fabulous job of protecting Ben Roethlisberger, their slow-footed 37-year-old QB. He’s been sacked just eight times in six games.

However, Pittsburgh’s offensive line hasn’t seen a front seven with the talent of the one that Baltimore sends out on the field. They’ll get after Big Ben and probably ring his bell a few times.

The Ravens allow just 230.8 yards per game though the air. That’s the sixth-best pass defense in the entire NFL.

Roethlisberger won’t be throwing for any large digits in this game.

Pick: Ben Roethlisberger under 254.5 passing yards (-112), 1 unit.

Who Are the Best Bets To Score a Touchdown?

Pittsburgh’s Diontae Johnson will be a likely choice to find the end zone after doing so twice in last week’s win at Tennessee. But the guy to go with here is Chase Claypool. This figures to be a low-scoring game.

Claypool gets plenty of touches and is someone who also brings value. The rookie will be looking to make amends after fumbling against the Titans.

Mark Andrews has been on fire for the Ravens. He’s accounted for five TD receptions in six games, including three in the last three games. He didn’t find the end zone last week, so he’s due for a score.

Andrews averages five targets per game for Baltimore against Pittsburgh.

  • Claypool anytime touchdown (+325) – 1 unit
  • Andrews anytime touchdown (-200) – 1 unit
