The start of the 2026 NFL season is just two days away and, not only are the opening NFL Week 1 odds out, the NFL player props have also been posted for all of the skill-position players in each of the 16 games.
Below, I have set out the quarterback props for all starters, plus the rushing and receiving props for the biggest names in each game. All of the lines below are the best-available number from BetMGM, theScore Bet, Caesars, or bet365.
Passing Props: Quarterback Projections and Market Values
As the league’s top signal-callers prepare for battle, the passing props market presents a slew of intriguing lines shaped by offensive philosophy and defensive matchups. Below is a comprehensive look at the best-available odds for passing yards, touchdowns, completions, and attempts.
At the top of the board, Cincinnati Bengals gunslinger Joe Burrow boasts the highest passing yards total at 264.5. The Bengals signal-caller is also the sole quarterback staring at a passing touchdowns line of 2.5. Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford closely follows Burrow with a lofty 263.5-yard total.
Conversely, Cleveland Browns starter Deshaun Watson has the lowest passing yards total at 172.5. Watson joins Geno Smith, Malik Willis, and Jayden Daniels with a deflated passing touchdowns line of 0.5. These low totals map to a low implied probability for aerial success.
When diving into the team defense data, situational angles emerge. Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud (218.5 yards) faces a daunting challenge against the Buffalo Bills, who boast the top-ranked pass defense. Green Bay Packers signal-caller Jordan Love (241.5 yards) also draws a tough assignment against the Minnesota Vikings and their second-ranked secondary.
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson sits at 219.5 passing yards against an Indianapolis Colts defense that ranked 31st against the pass last season. Similarly, New York Giants second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart (211.5 yards) could feast against a Dallas Cowboys unit that gave up an alarming 265.9 passing yards per game.
Sharps have actively attacked the NFL passing yards props market, driving significant line movement. Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was aggressively bet up from an opening 225.5 to his current 234.5 line. Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes jumped from 225.5 up to 232.5.
On the flip side, Chicago Bears third-year signal-caller Caleb Williams saw heavy under action, driving his yardage total down from 233.5 to 226.5. If you are playing the trends, fade Atlanta Falcons quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. He failed to clear 210.5 passing yards in four of his last six games as an underdog (and six of eight in 2025).
Rushing Props: Ground and Pound Market Analysis
With the trenches set to dictate the flow of several key matchups, the rushing props market offers a goldmine of opportunity. Below is a comprehensive look at the best-available odds for the slate’s top backfield options.
Detroit Lions back Jahmyr Gibbs commands a lofty 83.5-yard total. The explosive runner is joined by Derrick Henry (80.5), Jonathan Taylor (77.5), and Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley (77.5). Oddsmakers anticipate heavy volume for Taylor, Barkley, and Atlanta Falcons back Bijan Robinson, who all lead the slate with 18.5 rushing attempts.
Passing-down specialists find themselves at the bottom of the board. Justice Hill possesses a microscopic rushing yards total of just 7.5. Committee backs like Washington Commanders runner Rachaad White (6.5 attempts) and New England Patriots tailback TreVeyon Henderson (5.5 attempts) face muted expectations.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers back Bucky Irving (57.5 yards) has a prime opportunity against a Bengals front that finished dead last in run defense. Dallas Cowboys running back Javonte Williams (73.5 yards) should enjoy running lanes against the Giants and their 31st-ranked rush defense.
Cleveland Browns runner Quinshon Judkins (59.5 yards) navigates a Jaguars defense ranked first against the run. Chiefs back Kenneth Walker III (63.5 yards) battles the Denver Broncos, who yield just 91.1 rushing yards per game. The Patriots will struggle establishing Rhamondre Stevenson (55.5 yards) against the Seattle Seahawks.
Sharps hammered several NFL rushing yards props early. Heavy action pushed Stevenson from an opening 46.5 up to 55.5. Conversely, Henderson crashed from 27.5 down to 18.5. Jaguars runner Bhayshul Tuten also faded from 57.5 down to 50.5.
Gibbs has exceeded 84.5 rushing yards in five of his last seven games when his team is favored by fewer than seven points. Pittsburgh Steelers bruiser Jaylen Warren cleared 40.5 rushing yards in six of his last seven games as a favorite. Fade Chicago Bears back D’Andre Swift, who failed to exceed 69.5 rushing yards in four of his last five.
Receiving Props: Analyzing Target Shares and Defensive Schemes
Finding vig-free value means identifying receivers who can exploit favorable matchups. The Week 1 slate presents a diverse array of receiving props for the league’s top wide receivers and tight ends.
Rams wideout Puka Nacua sits atop the board with a massive 90.5 receiving yards total. He is closely followed by elite outside weapons Ja’Marr Chase (87.5 yards) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (81.5 yards). Nacua and Chase share the highest receptions prop, both sitting at a lofty 7.5 catches.
Several depth options and run-blocking tight ends face muted expectations. Odell Beckham Jr is saddled with the lowest receiving yards total on the board at a mere 7.5 yards. Tight ends Noah Gray (8.5 yards), Tyler Higbee (13.5 yards), and Cole Kmet (13.5 yards) all face a paltry 1.5 receptions O/U.
Texans wideout Nico Collins (69.5 yards) faces a daunting assignment against the Bills secondary. Packers receivers Christian Watson (56.5 yards) and Tucker Kraft (45.5 yards) will be severely tested by a stingy Vikings pass defense.
Giants WR1 Malik Nabers (60.5 yards) has a prime opportunity to exploit the Cowboys defense. Ravens targets Zay Flowers (64.5 yards) and Mark Andrews (34.5 yards) draw a highly favorable matchup against the Colts. Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith (65.5 yards) takes on a porous Commanders secondary.
Sharp bettors aggressively attacked the NFL receiving yards props market. Flowers skyrocketed from an opening 59.5 up to 64.5. Parker Washington moved from 49.5 to 53.5. The market faded San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, plummeting his total from 42.5 down to 37.5.
Dawson Knox is a strong bet, clearing 14.5 receiving yards in 12 of his last 14 games. Jalen McMillan exceeded 34.5 receiving yards in seven of his last ten. Chigoziem Okonkwo eclipsed 25.5 receiving yards in six of his last eight games as an underdog.
