The over/under for receiving yards is 94.5 yards for Jefferson and 84.5 yards for the Lions’ Amon-Ra St. Brown. Detroit is a 1.5-point favorite, and the total is 51.5 points in the NFL odds.

Prop #1: Kirk Cousins Passing Yards

The trip to Detroit is a homecoming for Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins. He grew up in Holland, Mich., and played collegiately at Michigan State.

So, it’s not surprising that Cousins feels comfortable at Ford Field. He has won all four starts with the Vikings in the Motor City, completing 73% of his passes for an average of 334 yards a game with 12 touchdowns and no interceptions.

Cousins should again feel right at home. He has requested 15 sideline passes so he can visit with family and friends before the game

Kirk Cousins Passing Last 5 Games

Game Completions/Attempts Passing Yards Touchdowns/Interceptions
12/4 Jets 21/35 173 1/0
11/24 Patriots 30/37 299 3/1
11/20 Cowboys 12/23 105 0/0
11/13 Bills 30/50 357 1/2
11/6 Commanders 22/40 265 2/1

The Lions have given more total yards than any team in the NFL this season, and rank 27th in pass defense. Cousins, who has +10000 NFL MVP odds, threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns against them on Sept. 25 in a 28-24 win at home.

All signs point to another happy homecoming for Cousins in this one.

Pick: Kirk Cousins Over 280 Passing Yards -115 (1 unit)

Prop #2: Jared Goff Pass Completions

Goff is also comfortable playing at Ford Field. He has thrown at least one touchdown pass in 11 straight home games, the third-longest active streak in the NFL.

Last week at home, Goff had a big game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He completed 31 of 41 passes for 340 yards and two TDs with no interceptions.

Goff threw for 277 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings in their earlier meeting this season.

Despite having the second-best record in the NFL, the Vikings are last in the league in pass defense. Also, cornerback Patrick Peterson and safety Harrison Smith missed practice time this week with an unspecified illness.

Like Cousins, Goff also has a favorable matchup.

Pick: Jared Goff Over 23.5 Pass Completions +100 (1 unit)

Odds as of December 10th at BetMGM.

Jamaal Williams and Dalvin Cook are both odds-on favorites to find the endzone Sunday.

Prop #3: Jamaal Williams Anytime Touchdown

The Lions are seventh in the NFL in scoring offense and show a knack for reaching the end zone from close. They lead the league in red-zone efficiency by scoring touchdowns on 73.9% of their 46 possessions inside the 20-yard line.

Lions running back Jamaal Williams’ 14 touchdowns top the NFL. All have come on the ground.

That has been a bit of a revelation as Williams had a total of 13 TDs in his first five professional seasons. Look for him to find paydirt again Sunday.

Pick: Jamaal Williams anytime touchdown scorer -150 (0.5 units)
