Panthers vs Packers O/U Pick
The Panthers (3-3 O/U) average 26.5 points per game but yield 27.7 defensively, while their matchups combine for 54.2 total points per game. Although Green Bay (2-5 O/U) has leaned toward low-scoring contests due to a 20.7 opponent PPG mark, Carolina’s high-tempo offense generates 381.3 total yards per game and converts red-zone possessions into touchdowns at a 65.2% clip. With both defensive backfields vulnerable to explosive chunk plays through the air, expect the pace to dictate terms. Take Over 47.5 at even-money at Novig.
Colts vs Jaguars O/U Pick
The Jaguars (2-4 O/U) post 25.7 points and 347.7 total yards per game while converting 47.9% of their third-down opportunities into fresh sets of downs. The Colts (4-3 O/U) give up 25.7 points per game and carry a league-worst -9 turnover differential, which routinely sets up opposing offenses with short fields. Jacksonville’s efficient down-and-distance execution combined with Indianapolis’ turnover struggles will generate sustained scoring chances. Back Over 46.5.
Titans vs Bengals O/U Pick
The Bengals (4-2 O/U) convert 50.6% on third downs and score 27.2 points per contest, but the matchup dynamic hinges on Tennessee (3-4 O/U). The Titans produce just 15.4 points and an NFL-low 248.6 yards per game, crossing the 20-point barrier only once this season. With Cincinnati’s defense yielding just 20.3 points per game and Tennessee unable to sustain long drives in the red area, this matchup lacks the two-way firepower to reach the high 40s. Take Under 46.5.
Browns vs Steelers O/U Pick
The Steelers (4-3 O/U) boast a stout unit allowing just 19.7 points and 303.7 yards per game, while Pittsburgh’s own attack posts a steady 21.9 points. Cleveland (4-3 O/U) manages 19.0 points while conceding 20.9 defensively. Between Cleveland’s top-10 pressure rate and both offenses struggling to hit big explosive plays, this AFC North rivalry has four of the last six meetings staying under 40 points. Back Under 39.5 (or if backing the low-bar over, note that Pittsburgh and Cleveland have hit the Over in four of seven games apiece, creating a viable path to Over 39.5 on short field turnovers).
Vikings vs Lions O/U Pick
The Vikings (1-5 O/U) boast the NFL’s stingiest scoring defense, allowing a meager 12.3 points and 252.8 yards per game, driving five of their six games Under. However, the Lions (5-1 O/U) represent an entirely different animal, averaging 30.7 points and 397.3 yards per contest while finding the end zone on 70.4% of red-zone trips. With Detroit hitting the Over in five of six games and pushing opponents into shootouts, their unmatched offensive tempo will challenge Minnesota’s streak. Take Over 45.5.
Falcons vs Buccaneers O/U Pick
Both NFC South rivals enter on high-scoring trajectories with matching 4-3 O/U marks. Atlanta posts 24.4 points and 337.3 yards per game behind a 66.7% red-zone touchdown rate, while Tampa Bay matches them with 23.1 points per game and allows 21.6. With both units averaging over 23 points and their divisional battles historically featuring elevated pass volume, there should be plenty of clean scoring drives. Take Over 44.5.
Cardinals vs Cowboys O/U Pick
The Cowboys (5-2 O/U) score 27.0 points per game while cashing red-zone drives at a 74.1% clip, but their games feature wild volatility due to a defense surrendering 25.7 points and 373.7 yards. However, the Cardinals (4-3 O/U) are averaging just 20.3 points and convert only 42.9% of red-zone appearances into touchdowns. At 54.5, this total is the highest on the Week 8 slate and requires Arizona to push toward 24+ points against an aggressive Dallas front. Take Under 54.5.
Raiders vs Jets O/U Pick
The Raiders (5-2 O/U) have been an offensive and defensive catalyst for high totals, scoring 26.1 points and racking up 343.7 yards per game while coughing up 28.1 points per contest defensively. The Jets (3-4 O/U) have been held to 19.6 points per game, but Las Vegas’ bottom-five secondary provides New York its easiest coverage matchup of the season. With the Raiders cashing five Overs in seven weeks, defensive breakdowns on both sides will keep the scoreboard active. Take Over 45.5.
Ravens vs Bills O/U Pick
Buffalo (5-1 O/U) leads the NFL with 32.8 points and 387.7 total yards per game, hitting the Over in five of six contests while surrendering 28.5 points defensively. Baltimore (4-3 O/U) counters with a top-five unit averaging 24.1 points and 366.4 total yards. Both offenses rank inside the top six in explosive play rate and red-zone finishing, creating the exact script for a relentless, back-and-forth track meet. Comfortably back Over 53.5.
Chargers vs Rams O/U Pick
The Chargers (1-5 O/U) remain one of the league’s most profitable Under teams, scoring an NFL-worst 15.0 points per game while generating just 287.2 total yards. The Rams (4-3 O/U) outgain them significantly (399.1 yards per game), but Sean McVay’s squad will control the game script through Kyren Williams and extended clock-draining drives against a Chargers squad that cannot establish rhythm or finish drives. Take Under 45.5.
Patriots vs Dolphins O/U Pick
The Dolphins (3-3 O/U) are averaging just 16.3 points and 293.5 yards per game, struggling to sustain drives downfield. New England (4-3 O/U) scores 22.9 points but has been plagued by ball-security lapses, carrying 14 giveaways into Week 8. In an AFC East divisional battle between two struggling passing games plagued by turnovers and conservative fourth-down decision-making, scoring will be at a premium. Back Under 44.5.
Chiefs vs Broncos O/U Pick
The Kansas City Chiefs (2-4 O/U) excel on third down and bring superior overall offensive output, generating 380.5 total yards and 23.8 points per game compared to Denver’s 270.0 yards and 20.6 points. While both defenses are disciplined scoring units – Kansas City allowing 17.2 PPG and Denver giving up 20.1 – both clubs boast positive turnover differentials (+5 for the Chiefs, +4 for the Broncos) that routinely protect possessions and manufacture short fields. At a suppressed number of 40.5, two steady red-zone offenses should easily generate the 21-20 type of finish needed to clear the hurdle. Back Over 40.5.
Eagles vs Commanders O/U Pick
The Philadelphia Eagles (4-3 O/U) continue to struggle defensively, surrendering 25.0 points and 371.3 yards per game, even while their offense converts red-zone appearances into touchdowns at a sharp 73.7% clip. Meanwhile, the Washington Commanders (4-2 O/U) have leaned heavily toward higher-scoring affairs, conceding 28.7 points per game defensively while leveraging a +6 turnover differential to flip field position and create quick scoring opportunities. With Washington seeing the Over hit in four of six games and Philadelphia’s secondary surrendering chunk plays weekly, this divisional rematch offers a low total primed to surpass expectations. Back Over 39.5.
Bears vs Seahawks O/U Pick
The Chicago Bears (3-4 O/U) feature a well-rounded attack producing 25.7 points and 390.7 total yards per game, fueled by 44.0% third-down execution. However, this game script is dominated by defense: Chicago limits opponents to 20.4 points per contest, while the Seattle Seahawks (3-4 O/U) field an elite group yielding a league-best 233.9 total yards and just 17.9 points per game. Seattle has seen five of their seven games stay under 45 points, and Chicago’s disciplined front will choke out extended drives in hostile territory to keep this matchup beneath the total. Take Under 46.5.
