The data heavily supports a high-scoring track meet at the Honda Center. Vegas has been a reliable team for total bettors away from home, with the Over cashing in each of their last four road games.

On the flip side, the Ducks consistently find themselves in shootouts on home ice. The Over has hit in nine of Anaheim’s last twelve home games. More specifically, they show a strong tendency to bounce back offensively following a defeat.

The Over has cashed in 14 of the Ducks’ last 18 home games after a defeat, and in the last four meetings at the Honda Center, VGK & ANA have combined for at least seven goals each time.

Top VGK vs ANA Player Props

Jack Eichel: Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-175 at Caesars)

Jack Eichel is the offensive engine for the Golden Knights, consistently testing opposing netminders from high-danger areas. He has exceeded his 2.5 shots on goal line in six of his last eight road games, and leads the playoffs with 14 assists.

With a steady volume of 2.88 shots on net per game during this recent road sample, Eichel’s aggressive shooting mentality justifies me attacking this line. That holds particularly true with Vegas throwing everything at the net in their attempt to close out the Ducks.

Golden Knights vs Ducks Starting Goalie Matchup

GoalieRecordGAASV%
Carter Hart (VGK)7-4-02.49.909
Lukas Dostal (ANA)6-5-03.36.878

Hart provides the Golden Knights with a highly reliable last line of defense. Through eleven games, his 2.49 Goals Against Average and .909 save percentage perfectly align with their structured defensive system. He faces steady volume without letting games spiral out of control.

On the opposite end, Dostal has had a rockier start. Surrendering 3.36 goals per game with an .878 save percentage, Dostal’s underlying metrics indicate the Ducks rely heavily on their offense to outscore defensive breakdowns.
