Wednesday’s NHL slate gives goalscorer bettors two spots worth circling. The Chicago Blackhawks visit the Florida Panthers at 7:30 pm ET, and the Calgary Flames close the night in Seattle against the Kraken at 10 pm ET.

Both road teams have struggled to keep the puck out. Chicago has allowed 58 goals in 15 games with a 79.6% penalty kill, while Calgary has given up 53 goals in 15 games and sits at minus-15 in goal differential.

My Wednesday NHL props feature two Florida scorers and a Seattle forward who has already hurt Calgary this season. Keep reading for my anytime goalscorer picks and best bets for Nov 4, below.

Wednesday NHL Props: Sam Reinhart Anytime Goal

I’m opening my Wednesday NHL props with Sam Reinhart, who enters play with eight goals. Six of those have come on the power play, which is tied for third in the league.

He’s also second in the NHL with 23 power-play shots. That’s the version of Reinhart I want against a Blackhawks penalty kill operating at 79.6%.

He’s been finishing lately, too. Reinhart buried a power-play goal in Winnipeg on Oct. 27 to push Florida’s lead to 4-1.

The first meeting with Chicago was tighter than expected. Florida needed a late Lars Eller goal to win 3-2 at United Center on Oct. 25, but Seth Jones scored on the power play, so the Panthers’ man advantage has already found a crack in this matchup.

Back home in Sunrise, I’m counting on Reinhart to be the one cashing in this time. New users can sign up with the BetMGM promo code and score a bonus to use on this game.

NHL Anytime Goalscorer Picks: Brady Tkachuk

Brady Tkachuk is the second of my NHL anytime goalscorer picks. The Panthers landed him from Ottawa in June, and he’s matched Reinhart with eight goals so far, while helping the Panthers get back into the Stanley Cup odds conversation.

Volume is what sells me. Tkachuk has 48 shots on goal, tied for 23rd in the league, and his 18 power-play shots are tied for ninth.

He didn’t score in the Oct. 25 meeting, when Florida’s goals came from Sandis Vilmanis, Jones and Eller. I’m not reading much into one road game against a Chicago team allowing nearly four goals per game.

Just know these first two picks are tied together. Both lean on Florida’s power play, so if you only want one Panthers ticket, Reinhart’s man-advantage numbers give him the edge.

Best NHL Prop Bets: Mackie Samoskevich

I’m wrapping up my best NHL prop bets in Seattle with Mackie Samoskevich. The Kraken acquired him from Florida in June, and he already has two game-winning goals, including the late winner against Utah on Oct. 22.

Calgary has been his favorite opponent. Samoskevich scored twice in a 6-1 win over the Flames on Oct. 4, then added a goal and an assist in Seattle’s 6-2 loss in Calgary on Oct. 30.

The Flames have allowed 53 goals in 15 games, and Seattle has put 14 past them in three meetings. Calgary’s 83% penalty kill is respectable, so Samoskevich will likely need an even-strength goal.

That’s fine by me against a defense this leaky. He’s scored in both of his games against Calgary this season, and I’ll back him to do it again on home ice.
