  • New England Patriots owner Kraft has been charged for solicitation of prostitution in Florida.
  • His team has responded and denies any illegal activity.
  • Betting odds suggest there’s a good chance Kraft will be found guilty.

Robert Kraft, the owner of the Super Bowl 53 champion New England Patriots, has been charged with solicitation of prostitution.

Police allege that he twice visited a massage parlor where the women working there had been subject to human trafficking from China and were forced to perform sex acts.

It’s important to remember that Kraft is afforded the presumption of innocence in a court of law – regardless of what the court of public opinion will charge him with.

Odds Robert Kraft is Found Guilty of Soliciting Prostitution

Will Robert Kraft Be Found Guilty of Soliciting Prostitution? Odds
Yes -500
No +300

*All odds taken 2/22

The odds on “Yes” are quite heavy at -500.

Having a police chief publicly declare that there’s video evidence is going to be something difficult to navigate. And one would have to think that the district attorney, knowing that Kraft is a billionaire and a public figure, would have to have their facts straight before taking this public.

At the same time, there are a lot of ways to circumvent a guilty plea. It’s entirely possible that he comes to some kind of agreement where he doesn’t have to plead guilty but donates money, time, and resources to help the community instead.

Odds Kraft Serves Jail Time

Will Robert Kraft Be Sentenced to Any Jail Time for Soliciting Prostitution in 2019 or 2020? Odds
Yes +200
No -300

It’s definitely not an ideal situation for Kraft but in the grand scheme of things, it would be very surprising if he served any jail time. We’ve seen far more heinous crimes be committed that received minimal or no jail time.

It’s hard to believe that given his resources that he’ll end up in jail.

Kraft Spokesperson Responds

We know what’s been alleged. Kraft was apparently busted soliciting prostitution at the Orchids of Asia Spa in Jupiter, Florida.

As part of the takedown, which was originally targeted in a human trafficking and sex investigation, Kraft is reportedly on video involved in sex acts on two occasions.

At the same time, it’s important to note that this is just one side of the story. While these statements come directly from Jupiter Police chief Daniel Kerr, which obviously adds a level of creditability, remember that it’s still just one side.

Kraft’s team has already responded via a spokesperson with the following statement: “We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further.”

Is There a Donald Trump Connection Here?

Sportsbooks have posted a prop on whether Trump will get tied into this.

Remember, Trump spends plenty of time in Florida and is good friends with Kraft. At the same time, it appears that a full list of people involved has been released.

If Kraft’s name stood out, Trump’s name would have definitely jumped off the page.
