  • The NASCAR Playoff Chase concludes segment two with the Bank of America Roval 400 set to run on Sunday, October 9th, 2022
  • Several contenders include Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, Tyler Reddick, and potentially Joey Logano
  • Below are the Bank of America Roval 400 betting odds and trends ahead of Sunday afternoon

NASCAR heads to Charlotte in North Carolina for race number 32 of the 2022 season. The Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course is a 2.28-mile road course. The race distance totals about 250 miles over 109 laps. Now, who will be able to negotiate the Charlotte course best and advance to the “Round Of Eight”?

The final race of segment number two is a week after the YellaWood 500, where Chase Elliott held off Ryan Blaney, Michael McDowell, and Ross Chastain to win and get in.

Here are the Bank of America Roval 400 odds.

Elliott enters this race as a slight +500 favorite to win, followed closely by Tyler Reddick at +600. After Kyle Larson at +800 comes a bunch of drivers all in that +1200 to +1600 range. This is a road course so things might be mundane for a good bit with a few spurts of action.

NASCAR drivers will start their engines on the 2.28-mile, 25-25-59 stage lap setup when the flag drops for the Sunday afternoon race beginning around 2:00 pm ET on NBC Network.

Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin Have a Bit of Work to Do

Yes, this sounds strange but is true. With Chase Elliott into the “Round Of Eight” after his Talladega win, it will be interesting to see who plays it safe and who goes for it.  For example, Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin seem to be comfortably above the cut line (18 and 21 points respectively). However, Larson and Hamlin are both highly competitive and will want to race for the win.

Now, Kyle Larson is third at Caesars this week at +650.  Denny Hamlin is a long shot +1800 also at Caesars but Ross Chastain remains +1500. The Caesars Sportsbook odds are just a reshuffling of some of the top drivers.

Who wins the October 9th race at Charlotte? The “Round of 12” concludes Sunday. Watch for those bubble drivers. Stay tuned below.

The Playoff Chase Rolls On

Sports bettors are even more enamored with Chase Elliott. However, there is another Chase (Chase Briscoe) who is tied in points with Austin Cindric. Only one will advance and be a nice long shot in the NASCAR Cup Series odds. Remember, the Stewart-Haas Racing driver has only run once here. He started and finished 22nd in 2021. This is Cindric’s first time on the Roval.

Ross Chastain appears safe but may go for the win anyway. It is Chastain and the way he races. Daniel Suarez is just 12 points ahead of the bubble boys above. He did finish 13th last year after qualifying 25th. A top-ten for both is again very possible Sunday. That would be enough to advance both.

Bank of America Roval 400 Predictions & Picks

The weather expects to be pleasant Sunday with sun and temperatures nearing 70.

Next-Gen road racing often starts slow on the road and builds near the end aside from some spins.

Finally, look at Kyle Larson (+550) or William Byron for the pole at +1100. It could also be between the two Hendrick drivers for the win as well.

Here are our best bets:

  • Top Pick: Kyle Larson to Win (+600 – Barstool)
  • Other Contenders: Ross Chastain (+1600), Ryan Blaney (+1600), Joey Logano (+2000), Daniel Suarez (+1400)
