Arsenal vs Liverpool Prediction
It has not been the season these teams were expecting, with Liverpool failing miserably in their attempt to defend their Premier League title and the Gunners finding themselves in midtable and looking hard-pressed to earn themselves a place in the top six.
For Liverpool, the campaign hinged on early-season injuries sustained by influential captain Virgil van Dijk and his central-defensive partner Joe Gomez; both of whom have been sorely missed as the Reds have tried, and failed, to emulate their triumph of 2019-20. For Arsenal, injuries have played their part, but it is a failure to find any type of consistency that has hampered Arteta’s men the most.

The Reds start the day three points shy of the top five, the Gunners seven, and both are running out of games to close that gap and earn themselves European soccer next season. Liverpool’s form – four wins and six defeats in their last 10 – is cause for concern, while Arsenal’s record of 4-3-3 is only marginally better.

The stats suggest this EPL Matchday 30 match will be close but Liverpool’s worst form – certainly since the start of the year – has been saved for their home games. Away from Anfield, the Reds have been okay and it is for that reason, with Klopp’s men still in plus-money, the value is in the away win.
Pick: Liverpool to win (+118)
Leicester City vs Manchester City Prediction
Leicester’s fine home win over Manchester United in the FA Cup quarterfinal was the latest sign that the Foxes’ excellent season is no fluke. Brendan Rodger’s men have been in the top four of the EPL almost all season and with their first Wembley appearance since 1982 now assured, this campaign has all the makings of a great one.

Whether or not the Foxes have what it takes to claim a memorable win against the champions-elect is another matter but for this Leicester team to be +510 for the win against anybody is verging on the crazy… even Manchester City.

But with Man City still on the hunt for an unbelievable four trophies this season, Pep Guardiola’s men have been relentless, and even with most of their squad away on international duty this week, they still expect to win at the King Power Stadium. But, despite being elite athletes, these players are not machines and this could be a good day for Leicester to play the Citizens. The home win is worth a look for those who like an outsider, but the real value is with the draw.
Pick: Leicester & Man City to draw (+330)
Leeds United vs Sheffield United Prediction
Leeds will be looking to build on their 2-1 win over Fulham just before the international break as they enter EPL Matchday 30. Despite it being a good first season back in the EPL for them, they have lacked the consistency needed to stay in the top half of the table. But the win over Fulham left them on 39 points and in 11th place, crucially 13 points clear of the relegation. The Whites will be playing EPL soccer again next season.

Sheffield United, by contrast, will not be. With just nine league games left they are a whopping 14 points adrift of safety, so their race is run, but they still have pride to play for and this game is a Yorkshire derby. With the shackles off, the Blades should be able to play with freedom as they effectively prepare for next season in the Championship, and in doing so become dangerous opponents.

These games are traditionally tight – there has been only one goal between them in their last five meetings – and I can see the visitors raising their game and making life surprisingly difficult for Marcelo Bielsa’s men. For me, a low-scoring game looks likely and with the Blades being tough to break down, they will look to pinch a goal on the break and then defend for their lives.
Picks: Sheffield United to win (+525) / Under 1.5 goals (+310)
