Inter Milan (+165) vs Roma (+184), Draw (+260)

Roma (18-2-5, 56 points) are still in the Serie A title race, but they’ll face a tough opponent in Inter Milan (15-3-7, 48 points) this Sunday, February 26, when they travel to San Siro Stadium.

Juventus are once again threatening to run away with the league this year and Roma are really the only side with a decent chance of catching them. I Giallorossi are still in title contention thanks to a recent hot-streak, which has seen them win eight of their last ten games. But with a seven-point deficit to Juve, they’ll have to be even better if they’re going to dethrone the five-time reigning champions. The upcoming game against Inter will put them to the test.

Inter Milan are currently in fourth place, with no real chance of winning the league. They stumbled out of the gate, losing three straight early in the year. But they have been in spectacular form lately, winning nine of their last ten games. Their only loss in that time was a tight 1-0 defeat to Juventus. While the league title may be out of reach, a spot in next year’s Champions League is attainable. If Inter can catch third-place Napoli (16-6-3, 54 points), they would advance to a two-game playoff for a spot in the 2017-18 UCL Group Stage.

Both teams are greatly dependent on a sole striker to pick up goals. Inter has the young Mauro Icardi, who has scored 15 of the team’s 40 league goals. The high-scoring Roma side is a little more balanced, but has still seen Edin Dzeko score 19 of their 54 goals. Sunday’s outcome will depend, in large part, on the performance of the two strikers.

Roma are in great form at the moment, but beating Inter at home is a tough task for any team. Inter have not lost a home game in eight matches. Also, Roma will be playing on just two days’ rest after a Europa League match against Villarreal. It’s a tough game to call, but I’d go with Inter on this one.

Pick: Inter Milan (+165)
