The side managed by Andriy Shevchenko battled back against a two-goal deficit versus the Netherlands, and hung in a another close match with Austria. Andriy Yarmolenko is always an option in front of the goal and should stand as a worthy threat to a frugal Swedish defense. However, one person that has led by example more than anyone in these first three games in Emil Forsberg. The RB Leipzig midfielder has three goals in the tournament and has a legitimate argument to compete for the Golden Boot.

If the Ukraine do want to meet England or Germany in the next round, they will have to put heavy pressure on the Swedish defense. Robert Lewandowski managed to break them down twice in the last group stage match, proving the task is not impossible. Yarmolenko will have to make an impact but also look for some attacking chances for Roman Yaremchuk as he has also played well during Euro 2020.
