In regards to the total goal market, this match will have one of the more absurd goal lines you will ever see. Currently, the over on 6.5 goals sits at -110, while the reverse option has -125 odds. While Vietnam have a stronger defensive background in AFC play, they have conceded 18 in their last three matches against non-AFC opponents, including the likes of Spain, Germany and France.

You could argue that the America’s attack is even more threatening than those aforementioned teams, which makes this a great play to consider. Overall, I am going to ride with the over on 6.5 total goals (-110) and the over on 11.5 total corners (+100). Only one of the five matches so far has shown signs of life in terms of offense, but I think this one will probably be the first to go quite high on the score total. Six-and-a-half total goals is a fair line, that does not disrespect World Cup first-timers, Vietnam, too much.
