Alcaraz has opened as a slight favorite to complete the three-peat at the All England Club.

The men’s final will take place on Centre Court on Sunday, July 13th, with a scheduled start time of 2:00 pm local time (9:00 am ET). The match will follow the women’s doubles final.

Alcaraz vs Sinner H2H History

Sunday’s showdown marks the 13th meeting between these two young superstars. And it’s Alcaraz who holds the edge.

The Spaniard leads their head-to-head 8-4, including victories in their last five encounters. Most recently, Alcaraz outlasted Sinner in an epic five-set thriller at the French Open final just last month, winning 4-6, 6-7(4), 6-4, 7-6(3), 7-6(2) in a marathon that lasted five and a half hours.

Here’s where it gets interesting: Their only previous meeting on grass came at the 2022 Wimbledon Round of 16, where Sinner dominated 6-1, 6-4, 6-7(8), 6-3. Of course, that was three years ago. Alcaraz has since won two Wimbledon titles and transformed into one of the game’s elite grass-court players.

Sinner & Alcaraz’s Path to the Final

Sinner’s been virtually untouchable this fortnight. The Italian hasn’t dropped a single set through six matches.

Sinner’s semifinal win over Djokovic was impressive, as he broke serve five times and won 71% of points on Djokovic’s second serve. Throughout the tournament, Sinner faced only four break points and converted 96% of his service games.

Alcaraz’s journey has been more dramatic but equally dominant. The Spaniard saved two set points in his semifinal tie-break against Fritz, showing the championship pedigree that’s defined his young career. He’s now won 24 consecutive matches dating back to Queen’s Club, where he successfully defended his title as a Wimbledon warm-up.

Notable wins for Alcaraz include a straight-sets victory over former finalist Matteo Berrettini in the third round and a clinical performance against Daniil Medvedev in the quarters. His only dropped sets came against Frances Tiafoe in round three and Fritz in the semis.

Sinner’s tournament highlight reel includes a commanding win over Jack Draper, the home favorite, in the quarterfinals and his statement win over Djokovic. He’s broken serve 23 times while losing his own just four times all tournament.
