The highly anticipated WNBA Finals continue as the Golden State Valkyries (31-12, 17-5 home, 6-1 postseason) host the Atlanta Dream (30-14, 15-7 away, 5-1 postseason) in Game 2 tonight (5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET).

The Valkyries drew first blood in a 68-64 Game 1 victory on Saturday. They are a slight home favorite for the second straight game, looking to leverage their home-court advantage into a commanding 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Below, I’ll break down this game from all angles. Keep reading for the Dream vs Valkyries picks, props and odds for the WNBA Finals Game 2 on Oct. 19.

Golden State -1.5
52%

Game 1 proved that the offensive rhythm for both squads is underwhelming. Neither team showed any consistency. Golden State won despite shooting a frigid 32% from the floor. How? They controlled the glass, securing 41 total rebounds compared to Atlanta’s 35, even though Dream forward Angel Reese had a game-high 12 boards.

The Valkyries also protected the basketball slightly better, committing 10 turnovers while forcing 12 from the Dream.

That Game 1 victory ran Golden State’s record against Atlanta to a perfect 4-0 this season (3-0 at home), averaging a 5.8 margin of victory. All four have come by at least three points.

If Golden State can win on a night when their shooting is that poor, backing the Valkyries ATS is the sharp play again in Game 2.

The best ATS price is currently available at Kalshi, where Golden State-1.5 points” is trading at 52¢ (equal to -108 odds). The vast majority of sportsbooks have the line at Golden State -2.5. New users can sign up with the Kalshi promo code and score a bonus to use on tonight’s game.

Game-Total Pick: Under 152.5 (-104 / 51¢ at Kalshi)

Under 152.5 Points
51%

The Game Total is set at 152.5 across major sportsbooks. The series opener was a grueling defensive battle that produced only 132 combined points. Atlanta shot 33% overall and managed just 16% from three-point range. Unless both squads experience a drastic offensive turnaround, Game 2 will produce another convincing under.

Given the dominant form we’ve seen from Golden State’s defense all postseason, I expect another gritty playoff slugfest.

Again, skip the traditional sportsbooks and grab the under 152.5 points at 51¢ at Kalshi (equal to -104 odds). This offers solid value for a game that appears destined to be a low-scoring rock fight.

Traditional sportsbook betting lines feature the Golden State Valkyries as 2.5-point favorites on their home floor against the Atlanta Dream. The Valkyries are now a -190 favorite to hoist the trophy in the WNBA Championship odds.

For the game total, oddsmakers have set the line at 152.5 points, with both the Over and Under priced evenly at -110. On the moneyline, Golden State sits as the favorite at -143, while Atlanta is positioned as the +120 underdog.

Sharp bettors should always shop these numbers. For example, Kalshi’s outright win market prices the Valkyries at 58¢, which equates to roughly -138 implied odds. This grants an immediate pricing advantage over the -143 market average. Make sure you scan the prediction market apps to find the best price.

Comparing current numbers to the opening lines shows some notable movement. Golden State’s moneyline price shifted from an opening of -120 to -143, while Atlanta moved from +100 to +120. The betting public clearly respects Golden State’s home-court advantage and dominant Game 1 rebounding effort.

The point spread also expanded, with the Valkyries opening at -1.5 before arriving at the current -2.5. Additionally, the game total saw a slight bump, opening at 151.5 before stepping up to the 152.5-point mark. This total movement feels like a trap given the massive offensive struggles witnessed in Game 1.
