In a rare Monday game to begin a new week in the WNBA, the Indiana Fever and Las Vegas Aces will face off for the second game in a row during the lone game of the night on Monday, June 26 at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas. The game will tip off at 10:00pm ET and will be aired on CBS Sports Network with Las Vegas heavily favored in the Fever vs Aces odds.
The Fever enter the game in the middle of the pack in the WNBA, sitting at 5-8 on the year and as the eighth seed in the league standings. Indiana is coming off a 101-88 loss to Las Vegas on Saturday in Las Vegas.
The Aces come into the game as the top team in the WNBA with a league-best record of 12-1 to sit atop the standings. Las Vegas, winners of a WNBA-leading five games in a row, remain at home after topping Indiana 101-88 on Saturday night.

Final Meeting of Season
Monday’s battle will be the third and final game of the season between Indiana and Las Vegas and will be the second straight showdown after the teams faced off Saturday night in Las Vegas.

In the first game of the season on June 4, the Aces came away with a close 84-80 victory from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana. Las Vegas trailed for most of that game, but outscored the Fever 28-17 in the fourth quarter alone to complete a comeback win.
In Saturday’s meeting between Indiana and Las Vegas, the Aces pulled out a more comfortable win while beating the Fever by 13 points behind an early start in the first half that pushed the game out of reach right away.
Both Sides Playing Well
Although one team is in a better spot than the other and a more talented team, both Indiana and Las Vegas are playing well as of late.
The Aces, who are favorites in the WNBA Championship odds, have been dominant as any WNBA team in 2023 and lead the league in almost every offensive category and rank near the top in defensive categories as well. They are riding a five-game winning streak and have lost just once this season while showing no signs of being altered by any team. Las Vegas should continue that trend, not only in this game Monday but throughout the year while being the clear best team in the league.

The Fever are coming off a loss over the weekend, but they come into the game having won three of their last five while claiming wins over solid teams including as Washington and Chicago over that span. Indiana is a young team but have showcased its talented offense that can put up a fight with any other team in the WNBA, even superior squads. Led by rookie and All-Star starter Aliyah Boston, the Fever are a team you can never count out even against top teams in the league like Las Vegas.

Key to the Game
The biggest key to the game will be which team will be able to shoot well from the field, something that has played a big factor over the first two games between the Fever and Aces this season.
The Aces rank first in the WNBA in shooting percentage (50.4%) while the Fever rank third with a mark of 44.8 percent. Las Vegas holds the advantage from three, ranking first at 38 percent with Indiana shooting 32.6 percent for the seventh-best mark.
Whichever team is able to come out shooting well in this game will come out on top, and it’s safe to assume they will showcase plenty of offense again on Monday.
Fever vs Aces Picks
Las Vegas is too talented for Indiana, and really any WNBA team, to contain. Especially on the Aces home court, where they are an undefeated 6-0 this season. Las Vegas will flex its muscles once again Monday to come out on top and win its sixth straight in the Fever vs Aces picks.

As for the best bet of the night in the Fever vs Aces odds, the over/under mark of 172 points seems a bit high, even though both teams are strong offensively. Bet on the under on that mark, especially if this game gets out of reach early resulting in a lower scoring total by the end.
