Located in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, Lucas Oil Stadium is a state-of-the-art facility featuring a retractable roof and a large operable north window showcasing the city skyline. The stadium has a capacity of roughly 67,000 (expandable to 70,000) and utilizes Shaw Sports Turf.

While Indiana winters bring snow and freezing temperatures outside, Lucas Oil Stadium provides a completely controlled indoor environment for the majority of the season. The retractable roof and window are typically opened only when autumn temperatures fall within a strict, comfortable range without precipitation or high winds, ensuring optimal passing and kicking conditions.
