The Minnesota Timberwolves (46-46 ATS, 49-43 O/U) and Oklahoma City Thunder (56-33-4 ATS, 50-42-2 O/U) meet in a huge Game 1 in the 2025 Western Conference finals on Tuesday night in OKC. Oklahoma City is a heavy home favorites, laying 7.5 points in the Timberwolves vs Thunder odds.
The odds for Game 1 opened on Sunday night, directly after OKC pummeled Denver in Game 7 in the second-round of the NBA playoff bracket, meaning bettors have had nearly 48 hours to wager on the MIN/OKC spread, moneyline, and total.
As of 3:35 pm ET, here is where the Timberwolves vs Thunder betting splits stand.

MIN vs OKC ATS Betting Splits
NBA public betting splits as of 3:35 pm ET on May 20.

The Minnesota/Oklahoma City ATS betting splits slightly lean to the home-town Thunder to cover as sizable 7.5-point favorites. So far, 60% of ATS handle and 56% of spread wagers are on Oklahoma City. The spread has only moved half a point from where it opened (OKC -7.0) on Sunday night.
The Thunder covered just two of five games in round two against Denver and two of four in their first-round sweep of Memphis. Their 4-7 ATS record in the playoffs stands in stark contrast to their 52-26-4 ATS record from the regular season.
Minnesota covered four of five against the Lakers in round one and three of five against the Warriors in round two, giving the Timberwolves a rock-solid 7-3 ATS record so far in the postseason.
MIN vs OKC Moneyline Splits
The moneyline splits stand in stark contrast to the ATS splits. OKC is still getting slightly more moneyline wagers (57% vs 43%) but Minnesota is dominating the moneyline handle: 75% of ML handle is on the Timberwolves to win straight-up as +240 underdogs.
The Wolves casheed as +171 road underdogs in Game 1 against the Lakers and then again as +209 road underdogs in the series-ending Game 5. They were road favorites in both games in the Bay Area against a Golden State team missing Steph Curry, and went onto win both (102-97 and 117-110).
They lost Game 2 in Los Angeles, 94-85.
The Thunder dominated their two home games against Memphis in round one (131-80 and 118-99) but then lost Game 1 at home to the Nuggets (121-119) at the buzzer. They answered back with three straight home wins over the Nuggets in Games 2, 5, and 7.
MIN vs OKC O/U Betting Splits
The public has been hammering the over in Game 1 since the lines were first posted and, evidently, haven’t slowed down. Despite rising 4.5 points from 213.0 to 217.5 since Sunday evening, the over is still seeing almost all of the action. As of 3:35 pm ET, a whopping 96% of game-total handle and 96% of game-total wagers are on the over.
Both teams head into the WCF on two-game over streaks but OKC is just 6-5 O/U in the postseason while Minnesota is 5-5 O/U.
