- Christensen vs Randone is a prize fight that the sports betting world has been focusing on
- Will Christensen emerge victorious in the ultimate DFS prizefight
- Can Randone shut up the critics and show his pugilistic prowess?
Christensen vs Randone is a strange fight born out of curious circumstances. The world of celebrity boxing is inherently strange but this is unique even within this odd area of human social engagement. While a date and venue have not been locked down, it seems like many are making moves behind the scenes to not only book this fight but flesh out a full boxing card around it.
Randone is a former winner of the Bachelor, a DFS player, as well as a DFS writer/ host for Awesemo.com. Christensen contributes to EliteFantasy.com. The backstory to this fight is centric on sports betting and some alleged fugazi behavior within it. The odds for this fight and my pugilistic predictions are below.
Christensen vs Randone Odds
Fighter | Odds |
---|---|
Peter Christensen | -200 |
Chris Randone | +155 |
Odds taken Jan. 09
The controversy surrounding this bout all began with Jade Roper Tolbert winning the Millionaire Moneymaker. Tolbert and her husband (both on the Bachelor and Bachelorette respectively) are rumored to have colluded with one another to bypass the rules for the DraftKings contest which caps people at 150 unique entries.
The couple is theorized to have collaborated to create three hundred unique entries. Randone, a fellow alum of The Bachelor, comes into this because he tweeted out congratulations to the wrong Tolbert and his close relationship with the couple adds fuel to the proverbial fire.
Christensen’s Christening
This all did not sit well with Christensen who is also heavily involved in the betting community. The online goading and internet banter built up to a crescendo where we’re now talking about a fight between Peter and Chris. The NJ State Boxing Commission has been contacted and is projected to handle the regulatory end of things for this fight. Even media work is being done in preparation for this sports betting clash.
General Randone has now deleted his Tweets, deleted his video, ordered people in Awesemo slack to not like my Hitler video, and last minute no showed today’s pod. He is a lying fraud.
I will be there tomorrow and I will do this fight if he will. https://t.co/EJ9Mj5CJBL

Both don’t seem to have any documented athletic history of significance. Peter’s preparations are rooted in watching “A Few Good Men”, per his recent tweet, and I imagine Randone is getting in some hot yoga and ramping up the cardio kickboxing. So a lot of this is going off of the eyeball test.
Randone seems to be in better physical condition than Christensen. A question about mental fortitude comes into the equation though. In all of his colluding controversy, Randone made his Twitter private for a period of time and went on a spree of deleting messages. Some are positing that this translates as sense of frailness and think that Randone would mentally/emotionally wilt in the lead up to a boxing bout.

Randone put out the idea on social media of the loser of this bout having to donate to charity. Five thousand dollars allocated towards a charitable effort of the winner’s choosing. I see Christensen being able to get it done here. Randone gives off a vibe that if he got cracked with a good punch, his confident demeanor would change entirely.
He seems like he’s more physically fit but a lot of fatigue settles in from sheer anxiety in the moments prior to the bell ringing. Go with draft cheat Pete for Christensen vs Randone.
Pick: Peter Christensen (-200)
