Paris Saint-Germain continues their usual dominance of France’s Ligue 1 with a 13-point lead ahead of second-placed Marseille.
But these have been uncertain times defensively for the mega-rich club from the capital even though the goals have been flowing in too.
They defeated Bordeaux 4-3 last weekend following a 4-4 draw with struggling Amiens.
Lyon will be lifted by their victory against Juventus in the Champions League in midweek as they attempt to improve upon their current seventh place at home against St Etienne.

Ligue 1 Pick 1: Toulouse vs Rennes
Rennes have held on to third place for the last eight rounds of fixtures despite a patchy run of form since the turn of the year.
Fresh from a 2-1 defeat of Nimes last weekend which ended a run of three games without a win, Rennes look good value at +116 to defeat bottom club Toulouse on Saturday.
A win for Toulouse is rated at +225 with the draw also at +225.
Toulouse have not won in 16 matches – a run which includes the taking of just one point in a goalless draw against Amiens on February 1.
Since then they have lost four more times. They have not even scored in six matches.
Toulouse are well adrift at the foot of the table with just 13 points from only three wins, four draws and 19 defeats in this campaign.
Their form is so poor they should comfortably be overcome on February 29, at Stadium De Toulouse, at 2:00 pm EST.

Rennes are eight points behind second-placed Marseille with a tally of 44 points – one ahead of fourth-placed Lille.
They enjoyed an impressive December with five straight wins.
Since then, they have stuttered while maintaining their position in the table. But their hunger for a Champions League place should drive them to three points this weekend.
Pick: Rennes (+116)
Ligue 1 Pick 2: Lyon vs St. Etienne
Lyon pulled off a stunning home win against Juventus in the UCL’s Round of 16 in midweek.
Although their league form is uncertain, they look a good value spread offering to win by more than one goal at home against struggling St. Etienne on Sunday, March 1, at Parc Olympique Lyonnais, 3.00 pm EST.
St. Etienne are in 15th place and have not won in five Ligue1 fixtures.
Oddsmakers price that at +124. A Lyon win is rated at -143 with a St. Etienne victory a wide +370 and the draw at +260 – which is an intriguing alternative.
St. Etienne are in 15th place and have not won in five Ligue 1 fixtures.
A run of four straight defeats was ended with a 1-1 draw at home against Reims last weekend.
Although they have won four times on the road, they have lost nine away matches.
They also have the joint-third worst goals against record in the competition in away games, having conceded 25 times; with their total goals against record an unimpressive 42.

Against that, Lyon have been let down by their home form. They have won four times, drawn four times and lost four times on their own patch.
It is the 16th-worst home record in Ligue 1.
Lucas Tousart scored the winner against Juventus on Wednesday having been loaned back to Lyon after signing for Hertha Berlin in January.
However, they are fresh from a 2-0 away win at Metz.

Pick: Lyon -1 (+124)
Ligue 1 Pick 3: Amiens vs Metz
Amiens, in 19th place, and 16th placed Metz looked well-priced for a draw on Saturday, February 29, at Stade De La Licorne, Amiens, at 2:00 pm EST.
Stuck in the relegation spots, Amiens have not won in 14 fixtures.
But they have drawn four of their last five games – with last weekend’s 0-0 result at Strasbourg following the extra-ordinary 4-4 result against leaders PSG.
In fact, Amiens have drawn five of their last seven matches.
Metz have drawn two and lost two since their last win against St. Etienne on February 2.
Tottenham Hotspur and Celtic are reportedly keen on Serhou Guirassy.

Indeed, they have drawn six times on the road this season while winning just twice and losing five times.
In total, they have been involved in 10 draws while losing 10 times and winning only six games for their tally of 28 points.
Amiens have also drawn 10 times while winning just four games and losing 12 for their total of 22 points.
Pick: Draw (+210)
