With the title race in the bag for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, the rest of the top-four in the Premier League remains extremely competitive. It’s sure to be an exciting finish but the question is, can West Ham make the Champions League, or will Chelsea or Liverpool rain on their parade?
Man United sits comfortably as runners-up and seven points clear of Leicester, but after the Foxes, it’s a toss-up as to who will secure their spot in Europe’s most prized competition next term.

Clear-Cut Opportunity for Leicester to Separate
Although Brendan Rodgers’ side has slipped up as of late with two straight defeats to Man City and West Ham, their upcoming schedule is promising. Leicester’s next four games are against West Brom, Crystal Palace, Southampton, and Newcastle.

These are all fixtures the Foxes should win. They have -125 odds to secure a top-four finish, and rightfully so, given Leicester’s current spot. However, these next few weeks will certainly determine their fate because the last three clashes of the term are United, Chelsea, and Tottenham, in that order.
Blues Have a Shot
Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea has marched into the semifinals of the Champions League, where they’ll face La Liga giants Real Madrid. But, their focus will also be on securing UCL football for next term.

The Blues are in good form. Their remaining fixtures will determine a lot though, with games against West Ham and Leicester ahead, which are sure to be decision-makers. Clashes with Arsenal, Villa, and City will also not be easy for Chelsea, therefore, they will need to bring their absolute best every single matchday.
Liverpool Could Still Make Top-Four
Out of all these clubs scrapping it out for the top four, the Reds may have the easiest schedule of the bunch. But, that’s if they actually show up and compete. Liverpool is now out of the Champions League though and will have their full attention on ending the season in a positive manner.

Leeds always creates problems, while the Red Devils are a tough clash. But other than those two games, the Merseysiders face all bottom-half teams over the next month and a half, such as West Brom, Southampton, Burnley, and Newcastle.
If there was ever an opportunity to still get something out of an injury-riddled campaign, this would be it. A spot in the Champions League next season with a fully healthy squad would be thrilling for Liverpool and its supporters.
Don’t Count Out the Hammers
Despite West Ham’s brilliant year, they have the worst odds of the previously mentioned sides at just +200. The Hammers have been a force to be reckoned with, beating Leicester on matchday 31 and tasting defeat just twice in their last eight domestic fixtures.
Jesse Lingard has revived his career at the London Stadium, bagging eight goals and tallying three assists in just nine games. David Moyes’ men have looked solid from front to back, but are vulnerable at times lately when taking the lead.

However, their remaining matches are a reason for optimism. The Hammers currently occupy fourth spot, sitting just two points ahead of Chelsea and three above Liverpool. Other than the Blues clash, which is sure to have major implications, West Ham faces mostly bottom-half sides as well. A meeting with Everton may be tough, but they did already beat them earlier in the term.
Best Bets for Top-Four
Despite Leicester’s dismal form lately, I do think they’ll do enough to secure a spot in the UCL. Unfortunately, Chelsea has the most daunting schedule and with them still in the Champions League as well, I do believe they’re going to end up slipping into Europa.
I’m all aboard the West Ham train. The London outfit has looked just as good as any side in England’s top flight and don’t be surprised to see them cruise through the last seven matches with lots of positive results.
As for Liverpool, their form has been improving but, I believe they’re going to miss out on the top-four.
United is a lock alongside City, with Leicester and West Ham joining them.
Pick: Leicester -125, West Ham +200 for Top Four
