Prop #1: Ryan Tannehill Passing Completions – O/U 21.5
Ryan Tannehill ranked middle of the pack in passing yards (15th) and completions (17th) last season. Despite the Titans’ high-scoring games, Tannehill actually rarely exceeded this total in the second half of the season. He was 18/26 against the Ravens in the AFC Divisional Round Playoffs.
In his last six regular season games, he only completed 22 or more passes on two occasions. Over the entirety of the regular season, he only went over this total five times.
QBs with the best passer rating since 2018
Drew Brees – 113.0
Patrick Mahomes – 109.3
Russell Wilson – 107.2
Ryan Tannehill – 105.9
Deshaun Watson – 104.7
Aaron Rodgers – 104.3
Kirk Cousins – 103.6
Lamar Jackson – 102.6
Derek Carr – 98.6
Dak Prescott – 98.6*min: 900 attempts

Tannehill and the Titans haven’t had the smoothest of pre-seasons to prepare for NFL Week 1 either.
While adding Jones should be a boon to the passing game, Jones was limited this summer with an injury. COVID-19 has also seen Tannehill. as well as offensive lineman Geoff Swaim miss time, plus WR AJ Brown has been limited with a knee injury.
The Titans’ offense could take some time to come together, making the -122 odds at Unibet for Tannehill to complete ‘Under’ 21.5 completions a good bet.
Pick: Tannehill Under 21.5 Completions (-122)
Prop #2: 1st Quarter Total Points – O/U 9.5 Points
The Titans were a playoff team last season and scored the fourth-most points in the NFL during the regular season. They’ve now added Pro Bowl wide receiver Julio Jones to the mix which should make their offense, which already included 2020 rushing champ Derrick Henry even more explosive.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals were also in the top half of the league in scoring. With Murray at QB, Chase Edmonds at RB and DeAndre Hopkins and AJ Green at WR, the game has plenty of big-time players to bet on Sunday afternoon.

Each of these teams ranked high in first-quarter points per game last year. Tennessee averaged 6.2 points per game, ranking fourth, while Arizona ranked fifth with 6.1
Overall on the season as a whole for the full game, Tennesse ‘Over’ bettors cleaned up as ‘Overs’ went 12-3-1.
If either of these offenses can put a TD on the board early, we’re just looking for one more field goal to go over this total at Unibet.
Pick: Over 9.5 First Quarter Points (-159)
Prop #3: DeAndre Hopkins to Score a Touchdown
Only Stefon Diggs of Buffalo was targeted more times last season than Hopkins. Hopkins was targeted 160 times, just six fewer times than Diggs.
Cardinals vs Titans Touchdown Props
Player | Odds to Score First TD | Odds to Score Any TD |
---|---|---|
Derrick Henry (TEN) | +450 | -305 |
DeAndre Hopkins (ARZ) | +950 | -105 |
AJ Brown (TEN) | +900 | -103 |
Kyler Murray (ARZ) | +950 | +106 |
Chase Edmonds (ARZ) | +950 | +112 |
Julio Jones (TEN) | +1050 | +128 |
Ryan Tannehill (TEN) | +1500 | +230 |
James Connor (ARZ) | +1600 | +250 |
AJ Green (ARZ) | +2000 | +280 |
Rondale Moore (ARZ) | +2200 | +310 |
Christian Kirk (ARZ) | +2400 | +325 |
Josh Reynolds (TEN) | +2800 | +420 |
Maxx Williams (ARZ) | +3400 | +525 |
Jeremy McNichols (TEN) | +3300 | +575 |
Cameron Batson (TEN) | +3400 | +575 |
Andy Isabella (ARZ) | +5500 | +950 |
In 16 regular season games, Hopkins was targeted in the double digits in nine games. That included double-digit targets in each of the Cardinals’ last five games.
Only players w/Â 100+ catches in each of the last two seasons:

🔹DeAndre Hopkins pic.twitter.com/Q5Q3qKFlZQ— PFF (@PFF) September 9, 2021
Only once in Hopkins’ last nine games of the season did he pull down fewer than five passes (Week 17, four catches). In 13 of 16 regular season games, he had five or more catches.
You could also bet Hopkins to have ‘Over’ 6.5 receptions at -150 odds at Unibet, but for a better price of -105, you can back him to find the endzone.
Pick: Hopkins to Score Anytime TD (-105)
