Wenyen Gabriel (ankle) is questionable for Los Angeles and guard Kendrick Nunn (knee) is out for the season.
Hassan Whiteside (foot) will sit out his fourth straight game for the Jazz and Trent Forrest (concussion) has been ruled out after being injured Tuesday. Utah’s Bojan Bodganovic (calf) and Danuel House Jr. (knee) after missing nine and eight games in a row.
Lakers Betting Outlook
The Lakers are 15-22 against the spread on the road this season, including 0-2 on the first two games of the current three-game trip.
Malik Monk was a bright spot Tuesday as he scored 28 points on 6-of-10 shooting on three-pointers. Monk has scored at least 23 points during the three-game skid, averaging 24.7.
Guess those are the perks of being LeBron James and Russell Westbrook.
But the Lakers social media team is wrong for doing Malik Monk dirty like this 😅 pic.twitter.com/Wozl8quBbJ

The Lakers are barely in the postseason picture as their 10th-place standing in the Western Conference leaves them in position for the final spot in the play-in tournament, with seven games remaining. They hold a one-game lead over the San Antonio Spurs for that spot.
A lightning rod of criticism for the Lakers’ frustrating season, Russell Westbrook finished with 25 points, eight rebounds and six assists. It marked the fifth 20-point effort in the last six games for Westbrook, who is scoring 21.8 points a game in that span.
He then had an interesting postgame exchanged with a reporter from the Los Angeles Times.

Stanley Johnson’s 16 points matched a season-high and he also pulled down five rebounds and dished three assists. Johnson has scored in double figures in four of the last five games after doing so just seven times in his first 36 games of 2021-22.
The Lakers weren’t competitive as they fell behind 63-33 in the second quarter and allowed the Mavericks to make a season-high 20 three-pointers in 46 attempts for 43.5%. Dallas shot 51.7% (45-of-87) overall.
Jazz Betting Outlook
Matching their straight-up losing streak, the Jazz have also been 0-5 ATS in their last five games. Utah is 16-20-1 against the number at home this season.
Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz with 33 points and six assists Tuesday. It marked Mitchell’s 23rd game of the season with at least 30. However, Utah blew a 25-point, third-quarter lead.
Donovan Mitchell at a loss for words after falling to Clippers: "I don't know. It's the same s***. It's the same thing. It's literally the same thing."
Utah is now two games behind No. 4 in the Western Conference. Home-court advantage in the playoffs unlikely. pic.twitter.com/tb0wtHAjzz

The Jazz are sixth in the West, 2.5 games behind the fourth-place Mavericks with six games left as they try to gain homecourt advantage in the opening round of the playoffs.
Mike Conley scored 19 points, Jordan Clarkson added 17 points and five assists, Juancho Hernangomez contributed 13 points and Rudy Gay chipped in with 11 points.
Conley scored as many as 19 points for just the second time in his last 22 games. Hernangomez’s two double figure scoring performances this season have come in the last three games.

The Jazz shot 55.1% (43-of-78) but were outscored 34-12 to end the game.
Lakers-Jazz Prediction
The Lakers have won seven of the last nine meeting with the Jazz and are 2-0 in 2021-22 as they look to sweep the series for just the second time in 37 years.
Davis was injured in the last meeting Feb. 16 when the Lakers prevailed 106-101 at home. James had 33 points, eight rebounds and six assists and Westbrook added 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Mitchell went off for 37 points, making 5-of-11 three-pointers.
The Lakers are struggling mightily but the Jazz aren’t playing any better. Taking double digit points is the way to go.
