2026 French Open Men’s Singles Odds Movement Timeline

  • June 3 – Apparently this wasn’t Jodar’s moment, at least not yet. The young Spaniard fell in the semis to Zverev (-185), who is now an odds-on favorite to win his first Grand Slam title, after finishing as runner-up on three separate occasions (2020 US Open, 2024 French Open & 2025 Australian Open).
  • June 1 – Don’t assume the shine has worn off Rafael Jodar just because he’s no longer in the top-half of the odds table. Yes, his odds only moved from +850 to +800 going into the quarterfinals, but that’s largely due to who is next opponent is: Alexander Zverev (+120), the highest remaining seed in the field.
  • May 28 – The #1 seed is out! With Jannik Sinner falling to Juan Manuel Cerundolo in the Second Round, the Men’s Singles tournament is now wide open. The new favorite is now Alexander Zverev (+190), while players on Sinner’s side of the bracket, like Flavio Cobolli (+1800) and Raphael Collignon (+4000) have seen their odds shorten dramatically.
  • May 22 – Rafael Jodar is flying up the odds table. With days to go before the start of the French Open, the #27-seed has gone from off the board to averaging +11500 on April 16, to now getting odds as short as +2500.
  • May 18 – On the first day of qualifying, Jannik Sinner is nearing -300, one of the shortest pre-tournament prices for any player in tennis history.
  • April 24 – The champ is out! Carlos Alcaraz will miss the 2026 French Open, who won’t defend his title due to a wrist injury. Following his withdrawal, Jannik Sinner has now become an overwhelming favorite to win at Roland Garros
  • April 16 – Jannik Sinner’s odds are getting just a little shorter, one month out from the start of the tournament. Last year’s runner-up has moved from +160 to +130 following his triumph at Monte Carlo.
  • March 12 – Alcaraz has edged ahead of Sinner to repeat at Roland Garros in 2026. The ’24 & ’25 champ is now getting +120 to win the French Open, while Sinner is getting +160. Both are well ahead of the third and fourth-ranked Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev, who are both getting +1200.
  • June 11, 2025 – The ’25 finalists open as co-favorites for 2026. Both Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are averaging +150 odds to win the Men’s Singles French Open Tournament in 2026.

France may boast the most French Open Men’s Singles Championships with 38, but no French men’s players has claimed top honors Yannick Noah won it all in 1983. In comparison, a Spanish player has won 18 of the last 24 Men’s Singles titles at Rolan Garros.

2026 French Open Women’s Singles Odds Movement Timeline

  • June 3 – That was a wild French Open quarterfinal! We saw a qualifier, Maja Chwalinska, win in straight sets, alongside Diana Shnaider, who finished off her upset of World #1 Aryna Sabalenka by winning ten-straight games! Going into the semis, Chwalinska (+800) and Shnaider (+300) are chasing new favorite Marta Kostyuk (+130).
  • June 1 – Aryna Sabalenka (-135) is now the odds-on favorite heading into the quarterfinals. Seeds two through six and eleven of the top fifteen players are now out of the tournament, meaning the path to Sabalenka’s first French Open has become a little clearer.
  • May 28 – The Women’s Singles tournament hasn’t seen a dramatic shakeup like the Men’s tourney, but some big names have fallen, like 2-seed Elena Rybakina and 5-seed Jessica Pegula. One of the biggest benefactors is 18-seed Sorana Cirstea, who’s odds went from +8000 to +3500 with Rybakina no longer on the horizon.
  • May 20 – Just ahead of the start of the French Open, Qinwen Zheng has tumbled down the odds table. Following an early exit from the Italian Open, Zheng has faded from +2000 to +5000.
  • April 16 – Victoria Mboko makes a small jump up the odds table, going from +2800 to +2500, after deep runs at Indian Wells and Miami in March.
  • March 12 – The Top 5 favorites for the 2026 French Open Women’s Singles tournament are unchanged over the past few months, as Iga Swiatek (+225), Aryna Sabalenka (+260), Coco Gauff (+400), Mirra Andreeva (+600), and Elena Rybakina (+900) remain the favorites.
  • June 11, 2025 – Coco Gauff may have been the big winner over the weekend, but sportsbooks are expecting a return to the top for Iga Swiatek in 2026. Champion in ’20, ’22, ’23 & ’24, Swiatek opens at +230 to win again next year.

Odds for Past French Open Women’s Singles Winners

Coco Gauff’s defeat if Aryna Sabalenka in 2025 (6–7 (5–7), 6–2, 6–4) was her second Grand Slam victory and first at Roland Garros. Prior to Gauff, the most recent first-time winner of the Women’s Singles title was Barbora Krejcikova in 2021, who capped a six-year run of first-time winners before Iga Swiatek’s three-peat from 2022 to 2025.

French Open Women’s Singles Championships By Country

Sports Betting Dime

Following Coco Gauff’s win in 2025, France and the United States now share the most French Open Women’s champions by country, with 30 apiece. The last French player to claim the Coupe Suzanne Lenglen was Mary Pierce in 2000, while American Chris Evert has the most French Open titles with seven, capturing them between 1974 & 1986.
