The St. Louis Blues are heading back into enemy territory against the Winnipeg Jets tonight for Game 5 of their Western Conference quarterfinal series, and many Missourians want to know whether they’ll be able to place bets on the former Stanley Cup champions from their own backyard.

While the short answer to whether you can bet on the Blues for their game against the Jets tonight is no, there are some important things to know about Missouri sports betting apps and when bettors in the state can expect to see the likes of DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, and others.

When Can I Bet on the St. Louis Blues in Missouri?

I’d love to sit here and tell you that you’ll be able to bet on the St. Louis Blues should they make it past the quarterfinals and advance further into the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but I won’t be responsible for giving the good people of Missouri any false hope in that regard.

Missouri online sports betting is expected to arrive sometime in fall 2025. This news comes after it was initially reported that there may be a summer launch of online sports betting in Missouri, which will no longer be the case. Instead, sports bettors in the Show-Me State will have to wait until at least October to place any wagers via sportsbook apps like DraftKings, FanDuel, or BetMGM.

In short, that means the Missouri sports betting scene won’t be up and running during this year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs, but they should arrive close to the start of the 2025-26 NHL regular season. That may be disappointing to hear as someone who is ready to start betting on the Blues right now, but there are currently no legal sportsbook options in the state.

What Sports Betting Apps Will Be Available in Missouri?

Despite no legal sports betting apps being live in Missouri right now, there are going to be plenty of options once fall rolls around and online sports betting in the state finally launches. Here are some of the Missouri sports betting apps I’m expecting to see come launch day:

While the exact dates and times of their arrivals might vary, I’m expecting to see most (if not all) of these sports betting apps to be live in Missouri pretty close to the state’s launch of online sports betting. This will give you plenty of great options as a user and you’ll be able to download multiple sports betting apps to see which one you like best.

As someone who uses plenty of these apps on a regular basis, you really can’t go wrong with DraftKings and FanDuel. That said, I really love the simplicity of the bet365 app and think it will be a fantastic addition in Missouri once it’s up and running.

Daily Fantasy Sports Options Live in Missouri

While you can’t currently place bets with a Missouri sports betting app legally, there are a number of great DFS options for bettors to choose from to still get in on some type of wagering action. Check out the table below to get a better idea of what DFS apps you can use in Missouri:

DFS is a great alternative to sports betting in states like Missouri where the online sportsbook market is still not legal and regulated.
