US Online Casino Revenue July 2025

The United States online casino industry keeps climbing to new heights.

All seven iGaming states have reported their July revenue. Collectively, US online casino gross gaming revenue (GGR) is up nearly $200 million from a year ago.

Last month, the respective states reported a total of $877.6 million in GGR from online casinos. That number was up 28.3% from the $683.6 million it did in July 2024.

July was also up 5.4% from June’s total of $832.8 million, an increase of $44.8 million.

All Seven States Up at Least 22%

Each of the seven online casino states saw significant revenue growth year-over-year.

Here’s a look at each state’s gross gaming revenue from July. It should be noted that some states individually report their adjusted gross revenue (AGR), which removes promotional spend from their wins. This table reflects the total prior to the promo spending taken out.

Big Three Continue to See Big Increases

The big three online casino states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey accounted for 88.3% of the total revenue in the country.

New Jersey online casinos set an all-time monthly record for the state with its $247.3 million in GGR. Pennsylvania and Michigan came up shy of all-time records, but still posted top-5 performances.

These three states combined for $219.4 million in tax revenue generated in July. That is for both state funds and local funds, respectively.

FanDuel Leads the Way in Michigan, New Jersey

Of the top three states, only New Jersey and Michigan online casinos report their revenue by online operator. Pennsylvania reports its revenue by licensee, which contains multiple operators.

In both Michigan and New Jersey, FanDuel Casino brought in the most revenue.

In the Mitten State, FanDuel has been having a back-and-forth with BetMGM Casino for the top spot. July saw FanDuel edge BetMGM, $63.1 million to $62.0 million. DraftKings Casino was a distant third with $41.6 million. Michigan has 14 available online casinos. SI Casino ended operations in the state on July 28.

FanDuel had a little more cushion in New Jersey, topping the state with $52.1 million. DraftKings was second at $48.6 million, while BetMGM came in a distant third at $31.4 million. The competition in New Jersey is a little deeper, as the Garden State has 28 different online casino options.
