Last Sunday night, we hit on Bet One of our $10 to win $10K ladder challenge, and it felt amazing. If you don’t know what a “Ladder Challenge” is, it’s very simple to understand. We start with a very average, ordinary $10 bill and a dream. Our dream is to turn that average, ordinary $10 bill into $10K. Now I know what you’re thinking, “how the hell are we going to do that?” Great question.

Once we win that one, we’ll have $48.97 for the next move. What’s more important is that we’ll only be eight bets away from $10K. Feels easy.

NFL SGP Leg #1 – Austin Ekeler Respects Coin

The first thing we need to do in these “must-win” situations is find guys who respect coin. It’s imperative, given the nature of what we’re trying to do. Lucky for us, the Washington Commanders are full of coin respecters. Their roster is literally littered with them.

One of my favorite ones is Austin Ekeler, who still looks like a young man out there, which is promising.

Here’s the thing with these ladder plays: we don’t need guys to set records out there. The whole idea is to pair a few bets to get the total price to right around even money (+100). Once we do that, we slap that “submit” button like a man and wait for the cash to come flying out of our phones. It’s just how we roll.

With all of that in mind, Austin Ekeler to catch at least two passes is criminally low-priced. If you ask me, there is no way this price lasts. He just caught three passes last week in a game where the Commanders led the entire time. Now they’ll see a much better Packers defense, which they will not be able to run on. At some point, checkdown ball will be played, and Ekeler will cash his leg like a king. Feels easy.

NFL SGP Leg #2 – Deebo Samuel Has to Catch at Least Four Passes

In order to get this thing closer to even money (+100), we’ll need another let in the -200 range. One thing I like to do in a situation like this is to look at a receiving option on the same team as the first guy. This should help the odds since the move will obviously correlate in a negative way. What that means is, if Ekeler is catching a pass, another player on the Commanders is not catching a pass. Still, when we’re “watering down” our legs, this normally ends up meaning nothing.

Especially when the other Commander we’re targeting is Deebo Samuel.

There aren’t many guys who looked better than Deebo last week, as it was obvious the Commanders know how to use him. He ran routes all over the field, which led to him being targeted 10 times. Now, Washington could face a negative game script, which should keep Deebo’s targets near double digits. On top of that, we just watched the Packers force the Lions to check down time and time again last week. If that happens this week, Deebo will fly over four receptions. What’s better is that even if it doesn’t happen, Deebo is still catching 4+ balls. Feels right.
