After eliminating the arch-rival Red Sox in the Wild Card, the New York Yankees (94-68, 50-31 home, 44-37 away) will meet the Toronto Blue Jays (94-68, 54-27 home, 40-41 away) in the 2025 American League Division Series.
The Blue Jays, who have home-field advantage and won an AL-best 54 games at home and went 8-5 against the Yankees in the regular season, have opened as sizable underdogs.

The opening line for the ALDS lists the Yankees as -156 favorites (60.94% implied win probability) and the Blue Jays as slight +132 underdogs (43.10% implied win probability). Over 4.5 games has been set at +166. Under 4.5 games is a short -198.
The Yankees are currently +400 World Series co-favorites alongside the reigning-champion Dodgers. The Blue Jays have the second-longest World Series odds among the eight remaining teams at +800. Only the Detroit Tigers have a longer price.
Toronto hasn’t advanced to the American League Championship Series since back-to-back ALCS losses (to Kansas City and Cleveland) in 2015 and 2016.
The Yankees are the reigning AL champs and have reached the ALCS four times since Toronto’s last appearance.

TOR Blue Jays vs NY Yankees ALDS Schedule
The Jays and Yankees will open their best-of-five ALDS in Toronto on Saturday, October 4th. The league still hasn’t announced the start times for any of the four Game 1s on Saturday. Game 2 will follow on Sunday before an off-day for travel on Monday. Game 3, and Game 4 if necessary, will be in the Bronx on Tuesday October 7th, and Wednesday, October 8th.
If the teams go the full five games, the decider will be in Toronto on Friday, October 10th.
