Vikings vs Chargers SGP Leg #1 – Jordan Mason Starts Hot

We need to expand our horizons a little bit. Look into markets we don’t normally bet and see what’s what. We can’t just stick with the same old player props. There are tons of markets out there that deserve some love. That’s a fact, whether we want to admit it or not.

Lucky for us, one guy who should cash an over in any market bet tonight is Jordan Mason.

I’m thinking we hit the first quarter lines for Mason tonight. Those numbers are low, for obvious reasons, so they can be a solid way to attack a good matchup. For instance, if we know for a fact that a team can’t stop the run, then why not take the opposing running back in the first quarter? It just makes sense.

Lucky for us, the Los Angeles Chargers can’t stop the run. Everyone knows it. They are 28th in opponents’ yards per rush attempt so far this season. That’s an outdated stat, but it does tell a story. The story here is that the Chargers stink against the run. We just watched two different Indianapolis Colts running backs go for 10+ rushing yards in the first quarter against them last week. Mason will fly over this number. Feels easy.

MIN vs LAC Same-Game Parlay Leg #2 – Oronde Gadsden Might End Up In The Hall Of Fame After Tonight

Here’s the thing about Gadsden: people are calling him “fool’s gold” since he’s seemingly come out of nowhere. It happens every year. A guy that was completely off the radar spikes for a game or two and then fades away into nothingness. Then everyone piles on to the people who bought into the player, and it’s awesome.

Only the real ball knowers out there can decipher the flash in the pans from the actual studs. Guess what, with Gadsden, it’s easy. The kid is a beast.

Back in the day, this same thing happened with Antonio Gates. He came out of thin air and started dominating a professional sports league, which doesn’t happen much. I’m not saying Gadsden is going to be Antonio Gates, I’m just saying that sometimes these types of guys work out. I’m thinking Gadsden is a guy who will be around for a while in this league.

Tonight, he’ll see the Minnesota Vikings, who give up receiving production to the tight end position. We just saw David Njoku go for 67 yards on these guys a couple of weeks ago. My guess is Gadsden gets free on a couple of seam routes and flies over this number. Feels easy.
