We have to be honest with ourselves.

Packers vs Steelers SGP Leg #1 – This Night Is About Aaron Rodgers

We’re about to watch a television broadcast that is completely about one man. Aaron Rodgers. Love the guy or hate the guy, he’s a legend so it makes sense. The man spent his entire prime with one team, and now he’s playing that team tonight.

In fact, he played for the Packers for so long that they’re the only team he hasn’t beaten before.

Since this will be the Aaron Rodgers show tonight, we should probably have an Aaron Rodgers wager. It just makes sense. We can’t have the guy out there playing for nothing. Lucky for us, the books have set his passing yards total so low that we can water it down a little and only ask him to throw for 200+. It’s a number he’s been over in five of six games this season, so we’re not asking a lot here.

Matchup-wise, we should be all set since we have two outs. The first one is the fact that the Packers have given up 200+ passing yards to three straight opposing quarterbacks. Two of those guys were Joe Flacco and Jacoby Brissett. No offense to them, but they’re not exactly top guys in the league at the moment. Combine that with the fact that the Steelers could easily play this thing from behind and I’m thinking Rodgers flies over this number. Feels easy.

GB vs PIT Same-Game Parlay Leg #2 – Jonnu Smith Might Be Aaron Rodgers’s Favorite Target

Every parent has a favorite kid. They won’t admit it because it’s kind of disrespectful to the other kids, but there is a favorite. It’s not our fault; we were given this world; we didn’t make it. With that in mind, it’s kind of like that for quarterbacks and pass catchers. There’s always a favorite.

After watching a few Steelers games this season, Jonnu Smith has to be Aaron Rodgers’s favorite kid.

Now I know the haters are going to say that DK Metcalf is Aaron Rodgers’s favorite target since he leads the Steelers in targets, but once again, the haters are not seeing the whole picture. Of course, Metcalf leads the team in targets. He’s the WR1. That doesn’t make him the favorite, just like being the firstborn kid doesn’t make them the favorite kid.

Plus, we’re looking for a tight end tonight since no team in the NFL has allowed more receptions to the tight end position this season than the Green Bay Packers. The crazy part is, they’ve only played six games while almost everyone else has played seven. I’d expect this to be at the very least a neutral game script with the possibility of the Steelers trailing most of the night. When that happens, our boy Jonnu is going to get fed. Feels easy.
