I’ve asked our internal A.I. to generate its favorite picks for Black Friday’s college football games. The table below lists every game on the slate with the A.I.’s against-the-spread and over/under selections. Below that, I’ve broken down the model’s reasoning behind five of the biggest matchups.

Texas A&M vs Texas Black Friday Pick: Texas +2.5

The Lone Star Showdown returns after a 13-year hiatus. Texas A&M brings an 11-0 record and sits on the doorstep of the SEC Championship Game, but the A.I. likes the home underdogs here.

The model focuses on the massive turnover differential gap. Texas holds a +10 mark compared to A&M’s -6, creating a 16-turnover swing that the A.I. views as critical in a rivalry environment. The Longhorns also convert 83.7% of red zone chances, nearly matching the Aggies’ 86.0% efficiency.

Both offenses should move the ball, with A&M averaging 38.1 points per game while Texas puts up 29.8. According to the A.I., the emotional charge of playing at home for the first time since 2010, combined with superior ball protection, makes Texas attractive at +2.5. The model also likes the over with two capable offenses.

Georgia Vs Georgia Tech A.I. Pick: Georgia Tech +14

Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate brings an interesting statistical matchup. Georgia Tech actually outscores the Bulldogs on average, putting up 34.9 points per game compared to Georgia’s 33.5. The Yellow Jackets also convert at an elite 93.8% rate in the red zone.

Georgia has won seven straight and looks like one of the country’s hottest teams. But the A.I. sees Tech’s offensive efficiency keeping them competitive, especially with their 48.1% third-down conversion rate.

Sharp money has backed Georgia Tech heavily, with 67.37% of spread handle flowing to the home underdog. The model believes 14 points is too many in a rivalry game, and also likes the under based on rivalry intensity typically producing defensive adjustments.

Indiana vs Purdue A.I. College Football Pick: Indiana -28.5

This Old Oaken Bucket rivalry presents a stark mismatch. Indiana enters 11-0, averaging 43.3 points per game while converting 56.7% of third downs. The Hoosiers have a +15 turnover differential and convert 91.2% of red zone trips.

Purdue sits at 2-9 and struggles to score, managing just 20.2 points per game with a disastrous -10 turnover differential. The Boilermakers got destroyed 66-0 in Bloomington last year.

The A.I. sees Indiana’s statistical superiority overcoming the 28.5-point spread. The model likes the under based on Purdue’s offensive limitations, reasoning the Boilermakers lack the consistency to contribute to a shootout.

Ole Miss vs Mississippi State Egg Bowl Pick: Ole Miss -7

The Egg Bowl kicks off Black Friday’s action at noon. Ole Miss averages 36.6 points per game and converts 46.3% on third down, giving them multiple ways to move the chains.

The A.I. points to sharp money heavily backing Ole Miss, with 98.46% on the moneyline and 76.91% on the spread. Mississippi State needs this win to reach bowl eligibility at 5-6, but their defense has struggled all season.
