The final game of Week 17 (and of 2025), the Los Angeles Rams (11-4) and Atlanta Falcons (6-9) square off to wrap up the season of Monday Night Football. The Rams have secured a wild-card spot, while the Falcons have been mathematically eliminated for weeks. However, the Falcons could still spoil the NFC South (for the Bucs only) if they were to win out. ESPN and ABC will both broadcast the 8:15 pm ET kickoff from Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Dec. 29.

The Rams are heavy road favorites in the Monday Night Football odds. The public is leaning slightly toward the under. If the game needed any extra stakes, the Rams own Atlanta’s first-round pick, so a win would be doubly beneficial as the Rams would inch closer to the No.5 seed as well as earn a higher draft pick.

LA Rams Injury Report

RamsInjuryGame Status
Alaric Jackson (OL)KneeUnspecified
Braden Fiske (IDL)AnkleQuestionable
Kevin Dotson (IOL)AnkleOut
Davante Adams (WR)HamstringDoubtful
Josh Wallace (CB)AnkleOut
Roger McCreary (CB)HipUnspecified

The Rams have six players remaining on the injury report. Star right guard Kevin Dotson and special teams do-it-all Josh Wallace will both miss their first games of the season. Dotson had played 89% of LA’s snaps this season. Wallace has played 27% of LA’s defensive snaps and 39% of its special teams snaps.

Dotson is not the only offensive lineman on the injury report as left tackle Alaric Jackson is dealing with a knee injury. The five-year veteran has played 98% of snaps this season.

Similarly, Wallace is not the only cornerback dealing with an injury as Roger McCreary is on the injury report with a hip injury. The first-year Ram has played in 12 games this season (four with the Rams), but he has not played since Nov. 23. He has one interception, two pass deflections, and a sack in 2025 – all coming with the Titans.

Perhaps the most glaring member of the injury report is the NFL’s leader in receiving touchdowns, Davante Adams. Adams is doubtful to play after sustaining a hamstring injury in Week 15. Adams missed last week’s game versus the Seahawks, but the mini-bye has given him a shot to play on Monday. He has caught 60 passes for 789 yards and 14 touchdowns, making him a long shot for his sixth-straight 1,000-yard season.

Braden Fiske is questionable with an ankle injury. The second-year interior defender has 2.0 sacks and seven quarterback hits this season. He has yet to miss a game in his NFL career.

ATL Falcons Injury Report

FalconsInjuryGame Status
Drake London (WR)KneeQuestionable
Clark Phillips (CB)Triceps/IllnessOut
Mike Hughes (CB)AnkleOut
Sam Roberts (ED)Knee/AnkleOut
Ruke Orhorhoro (IDL)KneeUnspecified

Defensively, the Falcons are in a tough spot. While both Clark Phillips and Sam Roberts have been designated to return from injured reserve, neither will be back this week. Among Atlanta’s defensive starters, they will be without Mike Hughes for sure, and Ruke Orhorhoro’s status on the interior is unknown.

Hughes has had a solid season, allowing a 56.1% completion rate on 66 targets according to PFF tracking. Hughes has allowed three touchdowns, picked off one pass, and swatted away three passes. Hughes has allowed an 85.2 passer rating this season.

For the Atlanta offense, Drake London’s presence is critical. The four-year veteran is averaging a career-best 83.7 yards per game this season across 10 games played. To lock in his second-consecutive 1,000-yard season, the former USC Trojan must get 163 yards in the last two weeks, right around his per-game average this season.
