It’s an NFC West grudge match between two bitter rivals with the 49ers squaring off against the hated Seahawks (5 pm PT/8 pm ET). Seattle just defeated San Francisco 13-3 two weeks ago to be crowned the #1 seed in the NFC, and they had a first round bye. The Niners defeated the Eagles 23-19 in the NFC Wild Card to advance in the postseason. The NFL playoff bracket shows Seattle as the #1 seed and San Francisco #6.

In the 49ers vs Seahawks touchdown-scorer props, Zach Charbonnet and Christian McCaffrey both have -135 odds to record an anytime touchdown. In the Super Bowl odds, the Seahawks are the top choice at +300, while the 49ers are the longest shot at +2000 to raise the Lombardi Trophy.

49ers vs Seahawks TD-Scorer Pick #1: Zach Charbonnet (-110 at bet365)

I initially was going to select Christian McCaffrey, given that he’s recorded at least one TD in all eight career playoff games. That’s an NFL record but I opted not to because surprisingly, McCaffrey hasn’t found pay dirt the last four battles against Seattle. I’ve turned my attention to a running back on the other side, Zach Charbonnet.

Charbonnet led Seattle with twelve TD’s this season, which is seven more than his running back counterpart Kenneth Walker III. The former has found the end zone four times in the last three affairs, and has at least one in five of seven contests.

Charbonnet has a TD in both duels vs San Fran this season, and the Niners have surrendered at least one rushing TD in their last five battles.

SF vs SEA Touchdown-Scorer Pick #2: Jauan Jennings (+255 at Fanatics)

For my next selection, I’m going with 49ers wideout Jauan Jennings to score a touchdown, as he’ll step up with the absence of George Kittle (torn achilles). Jennings hasn’t had a receiving TD in two contests, including Week 18 vs Seattle, but he did throw for a 29 yard TD to Christian McCaffrey in the NFL Wild Card against the Eagles. Before those two games he was on a wild heater and I expect him to get back to those ways.

From Week 9-17, Jennings suited up eight times, and found the end zone on eight occasions, doing so in every battle except for one (he had two TD’s vs the Titans). Five players have shorter odds than Jennings, so you can grab him with some decent value at +255.

49ers vs Seahawks Prop Pick: Jake Tonges Over 35.5 Receiving Yards (-113 at BetRivers)

I’m going with 49ers tight end Jake Tonges to have a big game replacing George Kittle. His line is set at 35.5 yards, which he went over on four of six starts this season (44.8 YPG).

He caught the game-winning touchdown against Seattle way back in Week 1, when Kittle got injured in the contest. He’s facing a Seahawks squad that’s struggled against opposing TE’s on the campaign, giving up 63.5 yards per game, which is sixth worst in the NFL.
