The NFC #1 Seattle Seahawks and AFC #2 New England Patriots will square off for the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl 60 on February 8th at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
The first Super Bowl lines were posted last night and early money has already shifted the spread, total, and moneyline significantly. The opening Super Bowl 60 point spread at FanDuel favored the Seahawks by 3.5 and -196 on the moneyline with a 45.5-point game total. Seahawks vs Patriots ATS Movement
The Super Bowl point spread has moved a full point in Seattle’s direction since opening at SEA -3.5 (-106). Based on the prices, the line could be moving even higher: Seattle is currently a -112 favorite to cover the spread at FanDuel, while New England is a slight -108 underdog to keep the score within 4.5 points.
The recent trends strongly favor the Super Bowl-winner also covering the spread. The table below lists the ATS results of the last 15 editions. SU winners that also covered the spread are listed in bold in the final column.

The winner has also covered the spread in 11 of the last 12; only Super Bowl 56 bucks the trend (Rams beat the Bengals 23-20 but failed to cover as 4.5-point chalk).
In the last 15 Super Bowls, straight-up winners are 13-2 ATS. Coincidentally, both of the losing teams that covered the spread were catching 4.5 points, just like the Patriots currently.
Seahawks vs Patriots Moneyline Movement
Just like the spread, the moneyline has also moved considerably towards the favored Seahawks. Seattle was a -196 ML favorite initially (66.22% implied win probability), but now sit at -225 (69.23%).
The Patriots’ ML price has faded from +164 (37.88% implied win probability) to +190 (34.48%).

Seahawks vs Patriots Game-Total Movement
The game total has also undergone notable movement already. After opening at 45.5 with the under slightly favored, the line has been pushed up to 46.5.
The under is now a -118 favorite to cash with the over priced at -104.
