Everyone’s favorite party tournament is back, with the rambunctious and rowdy WM Phoenix Open teeing off Thursday. Scottie Scheffler, who won in his last start at The American Express, headlines the field that features plenty of star power.
Scheffler knows a thing or two about winning on these grounds, having taken his first PGA Tour title at this event in 2022, then defending that championship to emerge victorious yet again in 2023. Xander Schauffele has the second best odds to win outright, despite missing his first cut in 73 tourneys at the Farmers Insurance Open, which was dominated by Justin Rose.
WM Phoenix Open Odds (2026)
I’m starting my card this week with Jordan Spieth, who has a brilliant record at the WM Phoenix Open and has done everything but win it. Since 2015, the 13-time PGA Tour champ has racked up six top-10s, including a run of T-6th, T-6th, T-4th in the last three seasons.
Odds as of 8:00pm ET on Sunday, February 1st at DraftKings. Check out the full list of DraftKings deposit methods.
Last Five WM Phoenix Open Winners
During that span, Spieth ranks second in strokes gained: approach, behind only the machine Scottie Scheffler. Speaking of the latter, I like to load up my card this week with longer shots, knowing that he obviously might run away with yet another trophy – so at least I won’t have to sink too much money into players that won’t cost me a ton to wager on.
Jordan Spieth is +5200 to snatch the victory outright, which is placed 20th on the betting board. With his spectacular play around these parts, this could be the time he gets back in the winner’s circle for the first time since 2022.
WM Phoenix Open 2026 Picks & Value Bets
- Nick Taylor +7000: TPC Scottsdale brings out the best in Canadian Nick Taylor. He was runner-up in 2023, then followed that up with a stirring playoff victory over Charley Hoffman in 2024. He’s sixth in SG: approach the last twelve rounds at this track, and Taylor has ten top-25s in the last 16 times teeing it up.
- Sepp Straka +8800: Despite surprisingly missing the cut in his title defense at The American Express, I can’t let this juicy number slide without sprinkling a wager on Sepp Straka. He won twice on the campaign in 2025 and had five other top-10s. He’s a closer, having secured four titles since 2022, and he’d love to follow in fellow Ryder Cup teammate Justin Rose’s footsteps – Rose missed the cut at The American Express, then claimed a victory in his very next start (at the Farmers Insurance Open).
- Andrew Novak +12500: Andrew Novak is coming off a solid T-7th showing at Torrey Pines, where he ranked second in strokes gained: approach. He’s had success at this venue in the past, having posted a T-8th result at the WMPO in 2024.
- Tony Finau +18000: After struggling for the better part of the last year, Tony Finau came alive at the Farmers Insurance Open, finishing in a tie for eleventh. He was ninth in SG: approaching the green, plus he has had success at TPC Scottsdale, highlighted by a runner-up in 2020. Given these long odds to win outright, he’ll be interesting to monitor in the top 10/20 markets.
