We tracked the odds movement for the 2025 MLS Cup odds for all 30 Major League Soccer teams, as well as odds to win the 2025 MLS Golden Boot. The graphs on this page are generated by collecting and calculating the average odds from many of our most trusted sportsbooks.
Ultimately, Lionel Messi and Inter Miami could not be denied in 2025. After opening at +370 to win the league title, Miami would remain as favorites throughout the season, with odds never climbing higher than +500, right up to the MLS Cup final against the Vancouver Whitecaps. Messi would also go on to win the MLS Golden Boot, tallying 29 goals across 28 matches played.

2025 MLS Cup Odds Movement Timeline
- December 1 – The MLS Cup finalists are set! Favorites for the entire season, Lionel Messi and Inter Miami (-225) ended NYCFC’s dream run on Saturday and will face off against the Vancouver Whitecaps (+162), who opened the season with MLS Cup odds as long as +5000. The final is set to kick off on Saturday, December 6th, at 2:30 pm ET.
- November 25 – We’ve got our final four teams! While things went as expected on one side of the bracket, with #1-seed San Diego (+225) set to host second place Vancouver (+250), the Eastern Conference bore witness to two big road wins: New York City (+800) upsetting the Supporters’ Shield winners and Lionel Messi & Inter Miami (+150) thumping Cincinnati, 4-0.
- November 10 – The Round 1 best-of-threes are finally done and the top of the MLS Cup odds table is starting to look like a crapshoot. The gap between favorite Philadelphia (+333) and FC Cincinnati (+700) is minimal, and the only real “longshots” are NYC FC and Minnesota at +1000 and +1600, respectively.
- October 30 – The opening round of was not kind to nearly all lower-seeded teams, with only New York City FC winning its first match, 1-0 at Charlotte. In doing so, the Pigeons‘ have seen their cup odds shorten to +1600.
- October 21 – They may have finished third in the Supports Shield standings, but Inter Miami (+450) are getting the MLS Cup odds heading into the playoffs, ahead of Philadelphia (+500) and Cincinnati (+600) in the East, and San Diego (+550) and Vancouver (+650) in the West.
- October 15 – Thanks to the late-season pairing of Son Heung-min with Denis Bouanga, bettors are now getting behind LAFC ahead of Decision Day, whose MLS Cup odds are now as short as +650.
- October 9 – With one game remaining in the season, the Philadelphia Union have clinched their second Supporters’ Shield and are now getting +450 to win their first MLS Cup.
- July 15 – San Diego cannot be stopped! Los Niños are now sitting atop the Western Conference and are getting just +750 to win the MLS Cup in their first season.
- June 2 – The Union are making their way back up the odds table. Undefeated in their last nine matches, Philadelphia’s MLS Cup odds have shortened from +1100 to +850 since last month.
- April 17 – Expansion San Diego FC are still running hot! After opening their inaugural season at +6500, Los Niños are now as short as +2000 after jumping to third-place in the West.
- March 13 – Philadelphia Union and Vancouver Whitecaps, the last two clubs in the league with perfect records, have seen their MLS Cup respectively odds drop to +2000 and +1600.
- February 20 – For the second season in a row, Inter Miami (+370) have opened as favorites to win the 2025 MLS Cup, followed by ’22 champs LAFC (+600) and last season’s winners LA Galaxy (+875).
