The 2026 edition of The Masters is underway at Augusta National. The small-but-elite field teed off in near-perfect conditions on Thursday morning: sunny with temperatures in the high 40s in the morning and reaching a high of 74F in the afternoon.

Masters 2026 Odds Timeline:

• 4:01 pm ET (April 12): Young dropped back to -11 and his odds faded from 45¢ (+125) to 41¢ (+144). Rose (-10) is now the second-favorite at 20¢ (+300) now that McIlroy (-9) has dropped two off the pace.
• 3:43 pm ET (April 12): McIlroy has dropped back to -10, two back of Young. The American is now priced at 45¢ (+125) with the Ulsterman at 21¢ (+376). Justin Rose and Russell Henley are now T2nd at -10.
• 3:03 pm ET (April 12): Young (-12) is now alone atop the leaderboard and is trading at 40¢ (+150), well ahead of McIlroy at 33¢ (+203).
• 2:49 pm ET (April 12): Scheffler is -2 on the day after just three holes and -9 for the tournament. He is now trading at 21¢ (+376), narrowly behind McIlroy at 34¢ (+194) and Young at 30¢ (+233), who are both still -11 after parring the first.
• 12:02 pm ET (April 12): McIlroy (-11, T1st) will head into the final round as a 36¢ (+178) favorite over Cameron Young (-11, T1st), who is trading at 29¢ (+245). Burns (-10, 2nd) rounds out the top-three favorites at 12¢ (+733).
• 7:56 pm ET (April 10): With a six-shot lead heading into Round 3, McIlroy is a massive 69¢ (-223) favorite to win his second straight Green Jacket. Second-favorite Patrick Reed is trading at just 4.6¢ (+2074).
• 4:51 pm ET (April 10): A tough string of holes from McIlroy (-6) has brought his odds down from 45¢ (+125) to 28¢ (+257). He’s in a tie for first on the leaderboard with Patrick Reed, who’s priced at 12¢ (+733) and is the current second-favorite.
• 3:01 pm ET (April 10): McIlroy (-8) is ripping it up again in Round 2 and is now almost even-money. He’s trading at 45¢ (+125) and has a three-shot lead on second-favorite Rose, who’s trading at just 8.5¢ (+1076).
• 1:18 pm ET (April 10): Scheffler (-2) isn’t making up ground early in Round 2, which has caused his price ot fade badly to just 12¢ (+733). McIlroy (-5) is still the 25¢ (+300) favorite. Justin Rose (-5) has shortened to 8.2¢ (+1120) by shooting -3 on the first 11 holes of Round 2.
• 8:03 pm ET (April 9): At the end of the first round, McIlroy (-5, T1st) is the 25¢ (+300) favorite, narrowly ahead of Scheffler (-2) at 20¢ (+400).
• 4:48 pm ET (April 9): McIlroy (-5, T1st) is creeping up on Scheffler at the top of the odds. Rory is trading at 22¢ (+355), just four cents behind Scheffler at 26¢ (+285). Third-favorite Justin Rose is at just 6.4¢ (+1463).
• 3:27 pm ET (April 9): Scheffler (-3 through six, T3rd) has shortened to 24¢ (+317). McIlroy (-5 through 16, T1st) is the second-favorite at 20¢ (+400).
• 12:30 pm ET (April 9): Reed (-5) and Fleetwood (-4) are still at the top of the leaderboard and both have seen their odds shorten further; new second-favorite Reed is now trading at 12¢ (+733) and third-favorite Fleetwood at 11¢ (+809).
• 11:28 am ET (April 9): Early co-leaders Patrick Reed and Tommy Fleetwood are both moving up the board; Fleetwood is now the second-favorite at 9.5¢ (+953). Reed is fifth at 6.8¢ (+1371).
• 10:14 am ET (April 9): World #1 and two-time Masters champion Scottie Scheffler will start Round 1 as the 14¢ favorite at Kalshi, which is equal to +614 odds in traditional sports-betting terms. That’s nearly twice as short as second-favorite Jon Rahm, who’s trading at 8¢ (+1150).

• 4:03 pm ET (April 12): Rose is now -11 and tied for the lead with Young, who’s in trouble at the seventh. Henley remains one back at -10 and Scheffler and McIlroy two back at -9.
• 3:47 pm ET (April 12): With the final group through five holes, Young (-12) holds a two-shot lead on McIlroy, Rose, and Henley, with Scheffler three off the pace.
• 3:02 pm ET (April 12): A birdie on 2 gives Young the outright lead at -12, one ahead of McIlroy and two up on Scheffler and Lowry.
• 2:52 pm ET (April 12):Scheffler’s charge has started early; the world #1 is -2 after three holes today and now sits at -9 for the tournament, just two shots back of McIlroy and Young, who are both E after the first hole.
• 1:15 pm ET (April 12): Ludvig Åberg (-6, T9th) has birdied the first three holes to climb into the top ten.
• 12:05 pm ET (April 12): A miraculous seven-under Round 3 from Cameron Young pulled the American into a tie for first with McIlroy heading into Sunday, with Sam Burns (-10) one shot back and Shane Lowry (-9) two off the lead. Jason Day and Justin Rose (both -8) round out the top-five on the leaderboard heading into Sunday.
• 7:57 pm ET (April 10): McIlroy (-12) will take a six-stroke lead into the third round on Saturday. Reed and Burns (-6) are T2 with four others at -5.
• 1:21 pm ET (April 10): Justin Rose (-5) has pulled into a tie for first with Burns and McIlroy by shooting -3 on the first 11 holes of Round 2. The Round 1 leaders have yet to tee off.
• 4:52 pm ET (April 9): McIlroy and Burns (both -5 after the first round) are T1st. Five players are -3, including Scheffler.
• 12:33 pm ET (April 9): Reed and Fleetwood continue to assault the leaderboard on day one; Reed is alone in first at -5 through eight holes. Fleetwood just bogeyed to fall back to -3 through eight.
• 11:33 am ET (April 9): Reed and Fleetwood are both -3 after five holes. They’re tied for the lead with Kitayama, who’s -3 through nine holes.
• 10:17 am ET (April 9): 35 of 91 players are on the course. Sam Burns is off to a red-hot start, birdying two of the first three holes to share the lead with 60-year-old José María Olazábal, who’s -2 through 7 holes.
