Yes, as Brady Trettenero wrote earlier in the week, there are plenty of aspects to consider in this fight. Nakatani has two advantages over Inoue. He is three inches taller, and Nakatani is a Southpaw. Inoue has looked a little unsteady at times against Southpaws, but sometimes comes up with his most brilliant performances (err, comebacks), too. Almost two years ago, Luis Nery put Inoue on the deck, and the Japanese champion came back, knocked the Mexican fighter down three times and secured a sixth-round KO.

I believe the Under is winning the rounds props without hesitation. At -110, it baffles me that this goes the full 12 rounds. Sure, it can, but Inoue was visibly irate after his last fight. This is one to jump on and maybe one of the alternates (say Under 9.5 if this opens up).

You know the nature of the two fighters well. This fight will be entertaining, but I like the attacker (err, Monster) in this kind of fight. Nakatani harnesses his power through combos and counters. Inoue wants to keep the pace up and attack by poking, prodding, then striking. Yes, Inoue can get caught, but Nakatani arguably becomes more vulnerable to Inoue’s hand speed when he attempts to counter.

Honestly, there are better options than the moneyline. As we mentioned, the Nakatani moneyline is worth a look at +380 via Caesars, but does that last much longer? It’s a great question.
