This co-main event heavyweight title fight is the tightest line on the entire card, and for good reason. The vig-free implied probabilities come out to a coin flip—Pereira at 49.9% and Gane at 50.1%—making this one of the most evenly matched title fights in recent UFC history.

Alex “Poatan” Pereira (13-3) brings his devastating knockout power to the table, standing 194cm with a 203cm reach. However, Ciryl “Bon Gamin” Gane (13-2, 1 NC) is a legitimate heavyweight who carries a slight reach advantage at 206cm while being nearly the same height at 193cm—and outweighs Pereira by nearly 20kg. That weight discrepancy matters when Pereira is moving up from light heavyweight to challenge at the sport’s heaviest division.

Gane’s movement and technical striking at heavyweight is generationally rare. His ability to fight long, utilize feints, and avoid power exchanges plays directly into neutralizing Pereira’s one-punch knockout ability. When the fight stays at range—which Gane’s footwork ensures—the Frenchman’s volume and cardio advantage will compound round after round.

At -115, Gane offers excellent value as a slight favorite in what the market views as essentially a pick’em. The over/under is set at 2.5 rounds (-130 over / +100 under), and I lean toward the over given Gane’s propensity to use movement early and avoid engaging in a firefight.

The tale of the tape tells the story perfectly. O’Malley stands 180cm with a long 183cm reach, giving him a 7cm height advantage and a 10cm reach advantage over the 173cm Zahabi. That kind of length differential at bantamweight is borderline unfair. O’Malley thrives at range with his sniper-like precision, peppering opponents with jabs, calf kicks, and spinning attacks while remaining virtually untouchable on the outside.

Zahabi is a technically sound fighter out of Montreal, but the physical disadvantages here are simply too much to overcome against a striker of O’Malley’s caliber. When O’Malley can maintain distance—and his reach ensures he will—he picks opponents apart en route to spectacular finishes.

The O/U is set at 2.5 rounds (-195 over / +150 under), which tells me the market expects this to go deep. O’Malley has shown patience in recent bouts, content to style on opponents for a round or two before finding the finish. At +150, the under offers intriguing value if you believe O’Malley will shift course and look for a highlight-reel finish early.
