The 49ers now lead the board, with the Bills and Chiefs tied next at +750. The Falcons have shortened the most in the comparison, from +20000 to +7000; the Eagles have had the steepest drift, from +1500 to +20000.

Biggest Risers in Super Bowl Odds (Week 5 to Week 6)

Chicago Bears

Chicago’s price shortened from +4000 to +1500, one of the sharpest moves among the teams on the board. The change places the Bears among the biggest risers in the table’s Week 5-to-Week 6 comparison. Traders and oddsmakers responded emphatically to Caleb Williams’ rapid maturation and the dominant emergence of a top-tier scoring defense that allows just 19.8 points per contest.

With their offensive line stabilizing and dynamic playmakers generating explosive scoring bursts – including a 59-point explosion against Carolina and a commanding 31-23 road victory in Atlanta – the Bears established themselves as legitimate dark-horse contenders with the defensive backbone necessary to make a deep postseason run.

Carolina Panthers

Carolina moved from +10000 to +4000, a 60% reduction in its listed odds, driven by Dave Canales orchestrating one of the league’s most stunning offensive transformations. Bryce Young has directed an attack averaging 29.2 points per contest, backed by bellcow Chuba Hubbard’s scoring tear (five touchdowns) and a backfield that controlled game flow during a statement 25-14 road victory over Philadelphia.

The Cleveland Browns also shortened by the same percentage, from +50000 to +20000, after their suffocating defensive front stifled Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in a 13-10 Week 6 shocker, making them another notable riser in the comparison.

Biggest Fallers in Super Bowl Odds

Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia had the sharpest relative drift among the teams listed, moving from +1500 to +20000. The odds change reflects a steep loss of market confidence over this period, directly triggered by catastrophic medical and injury news out of the NovaCare Complex. Starting franchise quarterback Jalen Hurts was officially ruled out for the remainder of the season after being diagnosed with blood clots, obliterating the core of Philadelphia’s championship aspirations in an instant.

Compounding that devastating blow, superstar running back Saquon Barkley remains sidelined, stripping the Eagles of their two primary offensive engines. Philadelphia’s title futures experienced an unprecedented freefall.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams saw their championship price nearly double over the Week 5-to-Week 6 stretch, fading from +650 to +1200. While Sean McVay’s squad entered the season among the top tier of NFC contenders, mounting attrition and defensive inconsistency have eroded market confidence. Los Angeles slipped to 2-3 straight up following a heartbreaking 37-34 shootout loss to Buffalo in Week 5, where their defense surrendered 434 total yards and failed to generate critical late stops.

With Matthew Stafford navigating constant pressure behind a banged-up offensive front, the Rams have struggled to dictate terms against top-tier competition, allowing 22.5 points per game and dropping critical ground to the undefeated 49ers in the NFC West race. That defensive vulnerability, paired with recurring skill-position injuries, prompted oddsmakers to reprice Los Angeles outside the inner circle of Super Bowl frontrunners.

New York Jets

The Jets drifted from +20000 to +50000. The move puts them among the largest fallers by proportional change, as the loss of star running back Breece Hall to a significant quadriceps injury took the engine out of an already stagnant offense averaging just 18.7 points per game. Without Hall to alleviate pressure on an aging passing attack, New York fell to 2-4 following a deflating 26-19 loss in Foxborough.

They are joined in this tumble by the crosstown Giants, whose odds lengthened from +5000 to +12500 after a defensive collapse in a 34-27 home defeat to New Orleans exposed a secondary that has leaked 28.3 points per game over their last three contests.
