NFL DFS Week 8 Lineup: DraftKings Picks for Sunday

Week 8 of the NFL season is here, and plenty of opportunities remain on the DraftKings Fantasy main slate. This lineup blends high-volume stars, affordable upside plays, and a few lower-priced options to free up salary for the top of the roster.
The lineup comes in at exactly $50,000, leaving no salary on the table. Here are my DraftKings NFL best daily fantasy picks for Sunday’s Week 8 slate.
NFL DFS Week 8 DraftKings Lineup
Player-by-player breakdown
Dak Prescott – QB, $6,300
Prescott has thrown for 1,639 yards and nine touchdowns through six games, including a four-touchdown performance against Washington in Week 2. He has also thrown for at least 258 yards in each of his last five games.
At $6,300, Prescott offers a strong combination of passing volume and touchdown potential. Arizona is the opponent, and his ability to generate production through the air makes him a solid foundation for this lineup.
Jaylen Warren – RB, $6,600
Warren has recorded 258 rushing yards and 258 receiving yards through six games, adding 21 receptions and one receiving touchdown. His involvement in the passing game is particularly valuable in DraftKings’ full-PPR scoring format.
At $6,600, Warren offers value through both rushing and receiving. Cleveland is rated 11th in the running back matchup rankings, so his production will depend on maintaining a consistent workload.
Kyren Williams – RB, $7,500
Williams has been productive on the ground and through the air. Through seven games, he has rushed for 492 yards and five touchdowns while adding 32 receptions for 239 yards and another score.
That combination of rushing volume, receiving involvement and touchdown production makes Williams one of the lineup’s strongest options. At $7,500, he has the potential to deliver a valuable return if he continues receiving consistent touches against the Chargers.
D. Boston — WR, $5,200
Boston is a mid-range receiver priced at $5,200, with an average of 11.0 fantasy points. The Cleveland-Pittsburgh matchup offers an opportunity to contribute without requiring an elite statistical performance.
His value will depend on targets, receiving yards and red-zone involvement. Confirm his full name and recent receiving statistics before publication so the analysis can accurately reflect his role in Pittsburgh’s passing attack.
Justin Jefferson — WR, $7,100
Jefferson has recorded 23 receptions for 302 yards and three touchdowns through five games. He has also reached at least 79 receiving yards in two of his last three appearances.
At $7,100, Jefferson brings significant upside to the lineup. Detroit is rated 29th in the wide receiver matchup rankings, making this an appealing spot for Minnesota’s top receiving option. His ability to generate big plays and score touchdowns gives him one of the strongest ceilings on the roster.
Khalil Shakir – WR, $5,600
Shakir has caught 22 passes for 290 yards and one touchdown through six games, earning 32 targets. He has also generated 198 yards after the catch, demonstrating his ability to create additional production once he gets the ball.
At $5,600, Shakir provides a reasonably priced receiving option with a role in Buffalo’s passing game. Baltimore is rated 27th in the wide receiver matchup rankings, which could help him outperform his salary if his target volume holds.
T.J. Hockenson – TE, $4,600
Hockenson has recorded 23 receptions for 202 yards and one touchdown on 27 targets this season. His 85.2% catch rate indicates that he has been efficient when targeted.
At $4,600, Hockenson offers a useful middle-priced tight end option. Detroit is rated 32nd in the tight end matchup rankings, creating a potentially favorable opportunity for him to contribute as both a short-area receiver and a red-zone target.
W. Robinson – FLEX, $4,200
Robinson offers salary flexibility at $4,200, allowing the lineup to invest more heavily in Jefferson and Williams. His listed average of 8.8 FPPG suggests that he is a lower-cost option rather than a primary source of production.
The matchup against Cincinnati is rated 16th in the wide receiver rankings. His value will depend on his expected snap share and target volume, so confirming his full identity and recent usage is important before locking in the pick.
Buccaneers DST – $2,900
Tampa Bay is a budget-friendly defensive selection at $2,900. The Buccaneers have an 8.9 FPPG average, and Atlanta is rated 27th in the defensive matchup rankings.
At this salary, Tampa Bay doesn’t need to deliver a dominant performance to provide value. A few sacks, a turnover or a defensive touchdown could make the Buccaneers a worthwhile selection.
