The Los Angeles Rams host the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium this afternoon with kickoff set for 4:05 p.m. ET on FOX.

Prop bettors have plenty to parse in this matchup, as Matthew Stafford and the Rams look to keep Justin Herbert and the Chargers winless. With capable playmakers commanding touches on both sides of the ball, the betting board offers several intriguing angles. Here are my top player-prop picks for this matchup.

Chargers vs Rams Player-Prop Picks

The prop market reveals compelling edges by exploiting specific defensive vulnerabilities and reliable player tendencies.

Justin Herbert Over 23.5 Rushing Yards (-115, BetMGM)

Instead of attacking exclusively through the air, look for the Chargers quarterback to do damage with his legs against a front seven that can be moved on the ground. BetMGM lists this line at 23.5, a number Herbert has cleared in four of his last five games (posting rushing outputs of 29, 40, 54, and 26 yards over that span to average 28.0 rushing yards per game in 2026).

The Rams yield a steady 115.71 rushing yards per contest to opposing offenses and struggle containing mobile passers when rushing four down linemen. With Jim Harbaugh emphasizing designed rollouts and scrambles against man coverage, Herbert has the athletic ceiling to easily surpass this total on four to five carries.

Tyler Higbee 4+ Receptions (+100, Novig)

Higbee continues to function as a vital safety valve in Sean McVay’s passing scheme, seeing consistent target volume regardless of the expected game script. The veteran tight end has exceeded 3.5 receptions in four of his last five games, hauling in catch counts of 8, 5, 5, and 4 over that stretch.

While the Chargers allow a respectable 216.17 passing yards per game, they face 330.0 total net yards of volume on average and frequently funnel targets to intermediate boundary crossers. That steady defensive shell leaves plenty of underneath opportunities for Higbee to move the chains and cash this prop at even money (+100).

Matthew Stafford 1+ INTs (-104, Novig)

Facing a Chargers defense that averages 0.83 interceptions per game, exploiting turnover tendencies offers solid value on the prop board. The Rams quarterback has thrown an interception in five of his seven starts in 2026, racking up seven total interceptions on the year.

With the Rams looking to aggressively test a defense that limits opponents to just 25.17 points per game, forcing throws into tight coverage could easily result in a turnover. Stafford has thrown at least one pick in four consecutive road or neutral outings, making this negative passing prop a mathematically sound angle.

Kyren Williams Anytime Touchdown (-122, Kalshi)

Finding sustained value in the touchdown market requires targeting undisputed goal-line volume. Williams remains the engine of the Rams’ rushing attack, scoring six touchdowns through seven games in 2026 and crossing the goal-line in five separate contests. In a matchup with a projected 45.5-point total, backing McVay’s primary ball carrier provides a rock-solid floor.

Williams has handled 96 carries and commanded 41 targets out of the backfield this season, so it’s likely he will receive the ball on virtually every red-zone snap inside the 10-yard line.

At -122 on Kalshi, his red-zone usage makes him the single most logical candidate on the board to score.
