  • I’ve made my Oilers vs Devils prediction for Tuesday’s matchup at Prudential Center
  • Edmonton plays its third game in four days, while New Jersey comes in with three days of rest
  • Keep reading for my Oilers vs Devils odds, prediction and Tuesday NHL best bets

The Edmonton Oilers (11-2-2) have been the best team in the Western Conference this season, but Tuesday is a tricky spot. Their trip to Newark is a third straight road game, coming after stops against the Islanders on Saturday and the Rangers on Sunday.

The New Jersey Devils (9-5-0) will be waiting on fresh legs. They haven’t played since facing Vegas on Oct. 30, and both clubs have already banked plenty of points in the early NHL playoff picture.

Puck drop is 7:30 PM ET / 4:30 PM PT. My Oilers vs Devils prediction and best bets are below.

Oilers vs Devils Prediction

  • Devils to win (YES at 60¢ on Kalshi)

I’m backing New Jersey at home for my Oilers vs Devils prediction. A YES contract at 60¢ carries a 60% implied probability, and the schedule pushes this one toward the Devils.

Edmonton played in New York on back-to-back nights before getting a day off on Monday. Tuesday marks the Oilers’ third game in four days, all on the road.

New Jersey has the opposite setup. The Devils have had three full days to rest after games against Dallas, Colorado and Vegas. They’re also 6-2-0 at Prudential Center, with wins in four straight, which makes up the bulk of their 9-5-0 start.

The risk is obvious. Edmonton has just two regulation losses through 15 games, so I’m not fading a bad team. I’m fading a tired one in a building where the Devils have won six of eight.

Oilers vs Devils Odds

MarketOilersDevils
Puck Line+1.5 (65¢)-1.5 (36¢)
Moneyline42¢60¢
TotalO 6.5 (46¢)U 6.5 (55¢)

Prices as of Nov. 2 on Kalshi. Oilers +1.5 and Under 6.5 are priced as NO contracts on the Devils -1.5 and Over 6.5 markets.

The latest Oilers vs Devils odds on Kalshi have New Jersey at 60¢ to win, a 60% implied chance, with Edmonton at 42¢. The two sides add up to 102¢, reflecting the gap between the buy quotes.

If you want more upside on the Devils, a -1.5 YES contract costs 36¢, which translates to roughly a 36% shot at a multi-goal win. Edmonton +1.5 runs 65¢. You can line these prices up against the sportsbooks on our NHL odds page.

Oilers vs Devils Best Bets

  • Under 6.5 goals (NO at 55¢ on Kalshi)

My second Oilers vs Devils best bet is the Under. Buying NO on Over 6.5 costs 55¢, good for about a 55% implied chance.

Goaltending drives this position, but neither starter is confirmed. Edmonton projects to go with Tristan Jarry. New Jersey could turn to Connor Hellebuyck, acquired in an Oct. 23 trade, or Jake Allen.

The risk to this Oilers vs Devils total pick is Edmonton’s offense. I want the goalie news before puck drop, particularly with New Jersey yet to name its starter.

Still, I like a rested Devils team setting the pace against an Oilers club playing its third game in four days. I’m holding the Under to wrap up my Oilers vs Devils best bets. Just check the goalie news before puck drop.

Oilers vs Devils How to Watch

Puck drop is set for 7:30 pm ET from Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The game streams on ESPN+, Hulu and Disney+ in the U.S., with Sportsnet carrying it in Canada.
